I came here with my large family on graduation night 5/21/2025 and the servers were so kind and all the food was hot and good and my whole family enjoyed it. I’ve always loved Golden Corral 🤩💗
Great buffet that lets you choose among a great variety of foods and choose how much to eat and drink
Fresh and tasty food! Great salad bar, and really, everything is surprisingly good, simple American cuisine buffet for a very affordable price, which isn't easy to find anymore. The only drawback is that it is like eating in a cafeteria. It's clean, but only cafeteria style table and chairs, no booths.
Carving station is just okay. Steak is never great, just edible. You're not going to find shrimp or crab legs here. You will find a very messy salad area with "fixins" spilling into dressings and vice versa. Pizza is awful, dry and salty. Potato bar and taco bar are also messy. Taco "meat" is less appealing than school cafeteria. Each of the chicken choices are decent, except the bourbon and/or jalapeno varieties.
Your best option at this location is to pile ONE BITE of several different food items, go to your table and sample each. If you're lucky, you'll find 2, maybe 3 items you like. Go back and pile up on those things, because if you go my looks, half the stuff "looks" messed up and the other half "looks" good, but tastes awful or of nothing at all. Expect to pay $20/person, drinks are not free here, expect to pay 3 or more for a Coke/Pepsi and rely on waiters to keep it filled, which is hit and miss.
Is it worth the price? Absolutely not. If you look at the floors, you'll QUICKLY LOSE your appetite with potatoes etc smashed into the floor, smeared into the tile, and spilled all over the counters.

The food was just ok. A few items at the salad bar were looking yucky, but the steak was good. Side items always dependable good

Typical buffet. The fruit wasn't ripe, and the desert area didn't have any cheesecake (Wah!!!).

The food was good, the service was great for being a Thanksgiving day. Even though the line was long it didn't take long to be seated.

This location was pretty nice. The food was fresh, place was clean and our server was a pretty sweet girl, the one with green hair I believe it was. The only real issue I had was the person I believe to be a manager, tall spikey haired guy. He didn't do anything mean or obnoxious to me or anyone else that I saw but he is just so overly loud and talks to people way to much while they are trying to eat and have their own conversation. I completely understand that he was being nice and cleaning and generally doing a pretty good job but he just gets a little carried away with it. Still though overall this place was great and I'm probably just being petty.

What? Cleaning and disinfecting?
I don’t think so. There were leftover food scraps on the dishes, and I could see flies on the dining table. I believe hygiene needs significant improvement.
The attitude of the staff also needs to be retrained. Especially one grill cook who was wearing black glasses.
I just wanted to order a steak, but since I’m not a local, I didn’t know how to order. There were no signs on the table indicating how to order a steak.
I pointed to indicate “1” to the chef to show I wanted a steak. However, the beef I received still had some blood in it, which made me hesitant to eat it.
A few seconds later, I heard a man nearby ordering his steak “well done”. (That’s when I realized I could choose the doneness of the steak) So I turned back to ask the chef if I could get it “medium well”.
The chef looked at me blankly and impatiently said, “You didn’t say anything.” This made me very uncomfortable and clearly showed how unprofessional he was👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽. It was truly poor service. The chef didn’t even ask customers how they wanted their steak at the beginning and didn’t say anything himself. He has no right to reprimand customers!!!!! :(((
I urge Golden Corral to improve their cleanliness and retrain their staff.
I strongly recommend the restaurant should provide a sign of how to order, as their staff is unprofessional and does not engage in conversation.
