Green Iguana Mexican Restaurant

I love their chimichanga with the white sauce and have been back several times for it. It is crunchy and the perfect texture with the sauce.
The staff have started to recognize me. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but the authentic Mexican food is awesome.

They delivered with DoorDash and the driver only spoke Spanish. He didn’t understand my delivery address and called me, I spoke Spanish to him and explained the address and problem. He hung up on me three times, delivered our order to another address and left. Maybe nd you this is after a 40% included tip. I called him back and explained the address again and told him that was not ok. He hung up again. Then the restaurant said they weren’t responsible for it. I had to argue with DoorDash to try to get a refund. They said they had only my account address and that was where they delivered. I told them that was bs because I live in a completely different state over 45 minutes away. I saw the ping of where he dropped off our food, it was literally three blocks away from the delivery address. They lied. Tried to blame it on me, and at first refused a refund. Don’t use DoorDash and don’t order from green iguana in St. George Utah. They’re just out to steal money.

Glad I found this place! My new favorite Mexican food in St George. Their Iguana Salad and quesadilla were fabulous. Awesome complementary chips and salsa. Diaz was the best server and their patio is great to sit on when it's warm outside (totally in the shade).

This place is awesome. Their service was the best I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. They went above and beyond and sang happy birthday to my son on his 8th birthday. I had their chili verde burrito, smothered, and it was among the best I’ve had.

The food is good but the lack of a bathroom available is a huge issue. Kids had to go to Chipotle across the highway as the shopping center bathrooms were closed. Be prepared before you go!

When traveling we make it a point to eat only at restaurants we never heard of before. Regional chains are okay (but only once) if we never ate there before. That being the rule, we never quite know what to expect. The food was excellent and flavorful and the prices were fair. It was a nice day so we ate out on the patio area.

Food was eh, nothing great. However the service was fantastic, our server was so fun and friendly. Maybe I just need to try something else.
