Third time recently in this restaurant (we kept giving it a chance because it used to be OK) and there was no line to be seated but we had to wait for the hostess to show back up. When we were seated we had two waiters walk by us 3 times no hello no water, so we left. We did not want to be disappointed again by both the food and the terrible service. We won't be back...

DO NOT EAT HERE! The food is horrible. It's worst then left overs heated up in the microwave. SERIOUSLY! You will be wasting your money. McDonald's is better cold than this place! I got the French dip sandwich, and I couldn't even eat it. It was chewy and thick and cold. Like leftovers heated up. The fries were cold and stale. Please stay away. The fried calamari, when you bit into them water gushed out into your mouth it was horrifying ?.

Chicken fajitas were terrific. Service was good. Prices reasonable. Restaurant could use a good deep cleaning around the edges. Beware of Wednesday special Bolognese . Cold rigatoni with canned chopped tomatoes and stringy meat scattered over the top. Pretty awful. May try Gurus again but not anytime soon.

Where are the zeros!?! This place is ridiculous and even 1 star is too much. We sat at our table for 50 minutes with out so much as an acknowledgement that we were there. We eventually asked 3 different servers if they could please help us. We were literally ignored by all 3. Two of them said, "We"re pretty busy", and made zero attempt to help find our tables server. We finally asked the hostess if we could speak with the manager. The Mgr came to our table and apologized and later brought our beverages to us. He didn't know who our server was supposed to be so he took our orders. Three different servers were at our section of the restaurant, with approximately 8 tables in the vicinity,but they would only wait on the same 3 tables with the same guests. It was like they only knew how to manage one table at a time. A table of 6 seated next to us finally got up and left, as did a table of 2 seated across from us, because they couldn't get served either. After waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes to get our food, the damage was done. We will not return, nor will we recommend this establishment to anyone.

I went into the Guru's on Sunset last night and was sooooo excited that I ran into Brett! He is a Manager there now and was the Server at the Guru's in Sunriver and was sooo nice and gave great service!! Happy to see him and his positive attitude here on Sunset. My new favorite place!!

Another 3.5* review for this sports themed establishment in St. George, Utah. Very large bar and restaurant area with multiple televisions tuned in to various sports events taking place. Good selection of drinks to include numerous draft beers on tap as well as in bottles/cans. The food menu is also rather large and includes the typical appetizers and bar food items as well as entree's. The mushroom cheeseburger was very large and tasted very good, a tad greasy but that's normal with this type of sandwich. The steak fries were also cooked very well and are unlimited if you choose to have another serving. The waitress was very good and returned from time to time to check on us and refill our son's non alcoholic drink as well as to clear plates that had been finished. This is a good spot for the area and apparently there is at least one more Gurus in the vicinity which we haven't tried as of yet...will definitely make this place a stopping point when in the St. George area in the future...RECOMMEND

Was a nice surprise. Walking in it didn't seem very clean. When we were back on the restaurant side it was good. I ordered salad bar. I didn't see it came with soup. When it came out, it was a huge bowl of wonderful clam chowder with a fabulous bread and butter. I cancelled the salad bar because it was so much to eat. My husband had wings and said he go back for them. Service was a little slow but very accommodating. Ambiance was nothing much but it's a bar so wasn't expecting much. I'd go back.

One star because this is Not a Sports Bar! How can a Sports Bar not have NBA, NHL, and MLB TV?! I love the bartenders. Dina, Sandra, Ashlee, and Jen are amazing! The customers bellied up at the bar are entertaining. And, the food is good. But WTF?! How can you not have sports in a sports bar? Do better Gurus, do better.

My husband and I went to the Bluff Street location around 12:30 on 2/3/2024. Right after receiving our drinks and placed our order we noticed a man passed out in the booth behind us. Within a few minutes he started throwing up. My husband ran to get someone to help. At the same time I moved away from this person. The waiter kept on apologizing. The man was still there when we left. I don’t know why the police weren’t called to have him removed/trespassed and arrested for drunk in public. The manager never came over to us to offer an apology. We won’t be going back any time soon.
