The food was great, and Id go back. The kitchen seemed like it was run by 3-4 abuelitas--super nice. The place is small, so plan to wait a bit or sit outside. The tables outside weren't the cleanest, but it wasn't a problem. I'll definitely go back if I'm in St. George. The food was good, and the place was filled with locals. We were there on a Tuesday evening and they were slammed/busy during dinner.

Cozy restaurant that is well staffed that has a nice family vibe. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Food was plentiful and very tasty. I arrived at 2:30 PM thinking it would be almost empty of lunch crowd but it was full with short waiting list. Parking was a little difficult but I was able to find someone leaving a spot right by the door. I will return often.

5/5 for service and ambiance. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday and just beat the rush. The place was packed within 15 minutes. We ordered the amarillo with pork (choice of chicken or pork) and the mole poblano (chicken). The amarillo was excellent, great flavor and lots of sauce. The flour tortillas were excellent; hot and stretchy with perfect thickness. The flavor of the pork still shone through the dish and was succulent. Unfortunately, the chicken was mediocre. There was more chicken in the mole dish than pork in the amarillo dish which threw off the sauce ratio; not nearly enough for the amount of chicken. The chicken was too tender. So much that it had a mushy mouth feel and not a lot of chicken flavor. Being from Canada, I find that American chicken is too large and quite bland on its own though. The rice was excellent. Fluffy and good flavor. Rice is my favorite part, so I was a little disappointed to see such a small portion compared to other Mexican food places. That said, I'd rather them not have a lot of food waste if rice is routinely left over. I found the beans average. They were more liquid with a higher concentration of whole beans and not as rich as I'm accustomed to; however, I'm no authentic bean aficionado. They were still tasty if a little more bland. Chips and salsa are served free. Chips were better than average. Salsa was quite runny and I prefer mine chunkier but the flavor was excellent.

I got take out and didn’t realize my order had been mixed up and went back to get it fixed. I was only expecting just the one item to be made but she had my entire order remade and was very apologetic. Great customer service! Really appreciate that they would do that with out me even asking. They care about customers!

Small and fairly quiet atmosphere. We had dinner around 6:30 on a Thursday night and our food arrived fast. Not thrown together fast, just fast. We both had enchiladas and the portions were perfect. Friendly staff and a very decent price.

Excellent food, probably the best I've ever had. My new favorite spot in st george. Can't believe I've been here for 12 years and never been here. I wanted to give the cook a hug after I was done licking my plate clean! ?

Found this here on Yelp and based on reviews thought we would give it a try. Really enjoyed the food overall here very authentic and had some good kick to green chili verde dish I ordered. Wife enjoyed her food as well but less enthusiastic (she ordered huevos rancheros) about her dish. I personally enjoyed the chips and salsa as well and the Tres Leches cake was amazing. Wish they served some Mexican cerveza to go with the food but service was very good and ambiance was nice with the house conversion to a restaurant which felt very cozy and it was busy as expected in a place with good food and good service. We will be back for sure

This was such a find! Decided to try something new and local and this did not disappoint. The service is extremely friendly and fast. We had the pork flautas and chicken enchilada suiza. Both were delicious. We'll definitely be going back when we are in the area next.

Not open on Mondays, so I drove here for nothing. Please update this, Irmita? I really wanted to eat here!
