Very good, authentic Mexican food. The flavors are incredible. One of the most important features of this restaurant, are the prices. They are significantly less expensive than the other Mexican food places in town. So, what would have to be one of the best Mexican food places in town, is also the cheapest. Come see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

St. George has a lot of restaurants that are similar to Jalapeños, but none of them are as good. My only complaint is they can be slow sometimes, but they’re worth the wait.

So disappointed!!! Decided to order take out tonight and I went with asada fries. My order of fries first off were super soggy and there was no garnish. I have ordered asada fries from plenty of places before and they were always garnished with pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream. These fries only had a small amount of both guac and sour cream. The shredded cheese that was used wasn’t even melted on top. I’m Latino, so I know authentic Mexican food and this is not it. The meat that was used was cut into huge chunks that made it nearly impossible to get down. I ordered two of these and it was definitely not worth the 30 dollars I paid. In the past, you could fool the customer with what great Mexican food should be or taste like but now that the community has grown with more Latinos, word of mouth will or can become crucial to an uprising or downfall of a business. #feeling like a ripped off customer

Used to really like jalapeños but the food gets worse each time. Got the chimichanga and the tomatoes were rotten definitely not good.

Prices on the screen menu are lower than what you get charged!
Food for the most part is great, very consistent with servings and taste of food.Their salsas are the best in town.
This place is better mexican food than Albertos, Alvaros and Coyote Charro by a mile.
Suggestions:
Paint your lobby.
Fix your wobble tables instead of putting napkins to secure their balance.
Clean nozzles amd drink station area daily (when nozzles are not clean daily they create an slimy substance that will go inside of someone's drink).
When busy no one is cleaning the lobby...
chairs and tables dirty, trashcans overflowing, trays with dirty dishes and food in a container on top of trashcan most of the time.
Also...
Friday and Saturday respect your own hours for dine-in service, you go in at 9pm and cashiers are telling everyone that food is for take out only, no salsa bar available either.
A little reorganizing in the lobby...think of a better flow experience ( remove unnecessary things to create more room like candy and toy machines).
Go visit other small restaurants to get an idea... your business has a lot of potential to be the best mexican food restaurant in Utah.
