Way too expensive

Visiting St George and looking for some afternoon ice cream and this place hit the spot. Very friendly with an old fashioned vibe (and surprisingly old fashioned prices!). A nice break from the standard corporate look and prices.

Quaint,
fun, historic store. Good food, snacks and ice creams. Very popular, can get crowded

Judd’s Store is equal parts nostalgia museum and neighborhood sweet shop: an old-time general store founded in 1911 that now delights locals and visitors with ice cream, vintage candy, soups, sandwiches, and small-town hospitality. I’d wager I t’s one of St. George’s most photographed storefronts and an easy, family-friendly stop when you’re exploring downtown Green Gate Village and Town Square.

Walking into Judd’s feels like stepping into a living postcard. The preserved false-front façade, exposed woodwork and display cases, and jars of classic confections create a charming, slow-down vibe. I imagine the building is a historically significant part of St. George’s early commercial fabric and local preservation efforts mean the store keeps its period look while functioning as a modern sweet shop and lunch spot. If you care about authenticity and atmosphere, this place scores high.

The menu leans sweet but isn’t one-dimensional. Judd’s is best known for:
Ice cream and sundaes — scoops and cones that are consistently praised by visitors.

Vintage candy & bottled sodas — an extensive selection of nostalgic sweets and hard-to-find candies.

Savory options — surprisingly good soups, sandwiches, and their much-talked-about breadsticks make it a valid lunch stop, not just a dessert pit stop. Multiple reviewers call out the soups and breadsticks as repeatable favorites. Overall, portions are generous and flavors skew classic and comforting rather than trendy

Cutest little candy shop. Only wish is that they had a wider selection of retro candies and got rid of their candy selection that you could find at Walmart (swedish fish, sour patch kids, etc). Pro tip: if you go in close to 5, the employees may offer you free bread sticks they have to throw out at the end of the day.

Oh perfect—delicious food, ridiculously friendly service, and zero things to complain about. How dare they run a small business this well? Lol
Now I have no choice but to keep coming back. Just what I needed. P.S the soup and sandwiches are to die for!!

Staff not very friendly. Kicked us out of the outdoor sitting area at 5:25pm so they could start getting ready to close at 5:30 even though we hadn’t finished our food yet.

Such a fun place! We come here and grab treats before heading to the park every time we are in St. George

Cool store but the owners are complete jerks, I personally saw the owner come out and yelled and swear at someone… it made me feel really bad for them, I will never go there again after how they treated him.

Hardworking owner and staff in a cute shop reminiscent of a 50s soda shop. The soups are amazing and not a bad price either. Definitely coming back
