We love this place and it's a must go when we make it down to St. George. I have celiac disease and they do an excellent job with safely preparing gluten free food.

The food here is still incredible! My wife and I don’t here for Valentine’s Day. We were delighted to find the quality is still outstanding 10+ years later!

My wife and I had a great Valintine's Day lunch at the Painted Pony, and the food and service made it a very special day.
Not the restaurant they used to be. Filet tenderloin was presented rather plainly on a bed of mashed potatoes with some very tasty jam, which was necessary sine the steak didn't have much flavor. For fine dining one would expect better. Beet salad was excellent as was key lime pie. Service was excellent. Their reminder the day before sets a negative tone, admonishing you that they will give your table away if you are 10 minutes late. Their $25 corkerage fee is also a turn off. Having dined there before meal was disappointing.
Wonderful dinner, delightful staff. The crab cakes were tasty, nothing like my home town Chesapeake Bay crab cake, but refreshing flavors. The Carrot-Jalapeño soup, with hints of bacon and cheese, is definitely worth including in your choices. You can't go wrong with any of the steaks, I enjoyed the halibut special and it was amazing! My favorite spot in St.George!
Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. I had the beef tenderloin and my wife had the pork chop. Both were fantastic! Had French onion soup to start with and it was amazing. Hannah, our server, was very attentive and fun.
Was sat outside on patio. No one out there. The host sat an elderly couple right next to us it was so odd as the whole patio was empty. We couldn't enjoy our meal so we hurried and left.
We enjoyed a Valentine's Week dinner with Cyndy taking excellent care of us. Admit to really enjoying the calm and warm atmosphere of the restaurant knowing it would be hectic later in the week. DH started with his typical Carrot soup while I had the poached pear with Blu cheese filling. My choice for dinner was the starter Mussels which were plenty for me and delicious. No room for dessert after the very satisfying dinner.
Always a wonderful experience... family celebration and excellent food and service. Thank you for the birthday treat

The service was wonderful and some of the food was delicious. Loved the beet salad and the tenderloin. We had the Brussels sprouts, the crab cakes and the Brie appetisers and I would only reorder the Brussels sprouts. Someone at our table ordered the ribeye and it was over cooked, the macaroni and cheese was blah as was the French onion soup. We were very well attended to by the staff and the bread that was served was very fresh and delicious.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kim is the heart of Painted Pony Every visit to Painted Pony Restaurant starts off on the best note thanks to Kim. She’s the hostess, and she always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. As regulars, she remembers us and consistently gives us the best seats — which truly makes each visit feel special. Kim has such a warm, genuine presence and an incredible attention to detail. She sets the tone for the entire dining experience before you even sit down, and that kind of hospitality is rare. Painted Pony is lucky to have her, and we’re lucky every time she’s there!
Everything about the Painted Pony is special. We went for dinner for a special occasion, my birthday. It is on the pricy side but the food is exceptional; however, as with most restaurants the price for drinks (alcohol) is inflated. This is not unique to the Painted Pony. Recommend going for lunch if you are on a budget. We had the roasted brussel sprouts and baked Brie for apps (excellent), the bone-in pork chop, the tenderloin and chestnut ravioli were our entrees. All fantastic. We shared the butterscotch crème brûlée and it was dynamite. Appreciated the birthday candle!
Service was not up to par! Food servicer was not very good, as she seemed to be new to the Painted Pony. We ate there last month and she was not very good compared to last month. We do not recommend her as a food server. Don't know if we'll be back if she's working there.
A nice night out for us. We enjoy visiting the Painted Pony. It has the most pleasant atmosphere of any dining establishment in the area and the food is always good. If you are wondering about the Bacon Wrapped Duck just do it! I must say it was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully.
