Visiting from Ft Worth for a little R and R and we are always looking for a good Mexican restaurant. Found Pancho and Lefty’s , let me tell you folks the frozen Magaritas reviled any Texas drinks. Food was fantastic and waitress Maria was the best. Don’t listen to Debbie downer reviews, their life’s are depressing so they go around giving bad reviews to compensate for their dull existence.

We were in town for softball and I had a craving for an authentic Mexican food restaurant. We stopped at the place across the street was didn't like the menu or the wait so we headed to this place.
We walked in and I was happy to see I was going to get exactly what I was looking for. Some decor to make it look like we were in Mexico, more decor in the seating area to make it feel even more like that. The chips and salsa were great - though they came in a very small bowl...but they refilled us a couple times.
I had the chicken flautas and my daughter had a carne asada taco. We were both happy with the food and both left thinking that we had eaten too much. Our server was awesome giving us refills on drinks and chips and asking if we needed anything.
There are many Mexican restaurants in the area - but I would suggest you give this one a try if you are in town!

My friends and I stopped by for lunch on Saturday and found out they only served dinner. There was only one other couple in the dining room so they were not busy at all. That should have been my first clue. Selected chicken nachos. When food arrived I noticed there was no chicken. Could not find server so had to hunt down a person to find my server. He never apologized for the mistake; just took the partially eating nachos back to the kitchen and had them put a few pieces of shredded chicken on the plate. I could tell they did not make a new plate of nachos since the chips were soggy. By the time he had returned with the nachos (25 min), everyone else had finished eating. Very disappointing plus the nachos were soggy and not very good. A waste of money.

I come here every time I visit St. George. Out of all the Mexican restaurants in town, this is by far my favorite. Do yourself a favor and get the fried ice cream after dinner. Really, don't skip it.

Authentic Mexican restaurant that offers really good food to quench your thirst for Mexican food with an immersive atmosphere to make you comfortable. Enjoyed my simple nachos and my wife enjoyed her brand-new summer salad. Service was pretty good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. This was a staple memory from my wife's childhood, and I think we will be back.
