New ownership. I was told they were out of the vegan chicken but when I got home with my to go order, there was a ton of chicken on it. It was probably not vegan. I tried to call but there was a busy signal. Also, the woman who brought me the first part of my order while I waited couldn’t understand me when I asked to confirm it’s vegan. Very uncomfortable vibe. I will never go back there. Wasted $20 because it ended up in the trash.

The horchata tasted like it was from a package and the food was ok. Very expensive for what I got.

They were closed indefinitely.

Love the to-go order pupusas that can be made with fresh vegan cheese. Friendly customer service. The only thing I wish was different was that they cooked a little faster… but well worth the wait! ??✨? Updated from previous review on 2024-03-12

The best pupusas I have ever had, then she started making tamales, and they were the best I ever had, I am a vegan, and all I had was vegan and so incredibly delicious. Especially when the original owner makes the food!!!!!

Vegetarian options: Even better, Vegan section that is amazing!

Got to come to Tia’s for my first time at an open mic which they have every Monday from 6-9pm. And I got to try one of their plant based pepusa’s and HOLY smokes! Devon knows what he’s doing.
It was so nice to have that option, the vibes were really great, Devon and Sydney are such kind and authentic human beings. Grateful I got to be apart of and get to know so many talented people in Saint George. Definitely excited to come more often and to be there for many open mics!

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free and vegan options

Stunningly inviting space. Very clean.
You can feel and taste the energy of love for family and the cultures of Bulgaria, Germany, Europe, El Salvador and the south of Mexico in each bite of the nutritious cuisine. The Papusas are amazing. If you don't know what that is, they have the facts and details of each dish clearly posted. This way you can truly know what you're getting into so it isn't intimidating. You can also get two different kinds of horchata and mimosas!!
The legacy created by the original owners of merging the recipes of these unified traditions, is being carried out by the new owners. They have kept the most popular items on the menu and will continue to expand their flavor and offerings to make sure it's a fullfilling experience for you and family!
Whether you're local or visiting, you can come give it a try on a Monday night where they are hosting an open mic spectacular. This is where some of St. George's most open and loving creatives come together to share their endless and diverse talents. Encouraging freedom of expression, this is where you can practice a craft you know and are developing or find inspiration for something new.
