This establishment fell short of any expectations we had. Considering the amount that we paid and the 22% gratuity that was added to our bill we will never be returning. The server gave no presentation to the menu, made no suggestions and was basically useless. We were told that the menu is made to share.. our table was 8 people.. Each dish is at most good for 2 people to share. Also, they make no consideration as to whether or not you want to share. Food was not presented to the person who ordered it, just dropped off and left to be a free for all. You’d be lucky if it was dropped off at your end of the table. Everything was drenched in sauce, Brussels sprouts were overwhelmed in balsamic, ribs were dry and covered in sauce. we assume to cover up how over cooked they were. Two steaks were ordered, when we tried to clarify which steak it was so that we could give it to the person who ordered it. We were looked at as if we were stupid. “Yes, obviously we can see that it’s the ribeye, which one is it?”. Some of us ordered drinks which were also not directly given to the people who ordered them. Just left at the corner of the table and one person was forgotten about entirely, nor did they keep our water filled. In no way did our server or anyone assisting deserve 22%. We did comment to our server some of the short falls and got a lack luster I’m sorry. When guests are paying 100$ + pp your service and food should be on par with that standard. Do better.

Horrible service. The food was dry. The waitress paid us no mind and just dropped off stuff without saying anything.

I would say this was the best brunch food I ever had. The service, was honestly okay, but I’m giving it a five because the hostess was AMAZING!! I did not catch her name but she sat us right away and got us our waters. She told us our server will be with us soon, and we waited..and waited..and waited. We understand when places get chaotic and hectic, but there were only three parties, two of them (one being us) of just two people and one table of probably about 10 people (on a Saturday after noon with out reservation being at 2:30) after quite sometime the hostess took our order and our drink orders when the only time we actually saw our actual server was when he dropped our food off. After that, he didn’t blink one eye back at us again. Again, the place was not busy, and at one point it was just us and the party and he still never checked on us. Only the hostess. I told my fiancé to make sure to personally tip her with all the cash he had cause she deserved it. Overall, I feel like this place is very under appreciated and I feel like the Saturday afternoon brunch should have definitely been more packed! I got the breakfast sandwich with breakfast potato’s and they were BOMB 20/10. And my fiancé got the smother breakfast burrito, also 10/10 and the fruit was so fresh and refreshing. Will be coming again ?

On the positive the food was good to excellent. But this was possibly the worst dining experience I've had in any StG restaurant. First, nightclubs are quieter. So much echoing noise you can't hear anyone without them shouting.Second, service was slow. We arrived on time for our reservation and we were greeted promptly. Then the host wandered around for 15 minutes and eventually a second person came up to see if we had been helped and then sat us himself. There were so many open tables not sure why we were waiting or where the host went? Then we placed a drink order and 25 minutes later we got something besides water.Third, the family style of serving dishes meant food came out randomly and people just ate whenever. So it wasn't like we all got our entrees together. Bread and side dishes just kept showing up and we were getting full before the entrees even arrived.Overall a tasty and expensive experience ruined by everything else.

The restaurant food is wonderful, creative and delicious. I think that somebody in the design department needs to recognize that the blaring lights above are not conducive to good dining experience. There is a beautiful light fixture in the middle of the restaurant, which is not turned on, it's a shame that the ambience of the restaurant gets lost because of these bright ceiling fixtures that make the setting like a cafeteria instead of a fine dining restaurant.

WAR is a staple for us, the food is always amazing, the cocktails are beautifully crafted, they have a great wine list, and the servers are all knowledgeable about the menu! 10/10 will always come back ❤️

This is the second time we've been here and both times the food and service was top notch. They also can make most of their menu items gluten free if needed. I highly recommend Wood Ash Rye!

Super cool "shared" meal restaurant. What you order is for two or more diners. Loved the Olive Bread, Salad was divine, Glazed ribs yummy, but roasted veges WAY too spicy & bitter to enjoy. But who doesn't enjoy chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk no matter how full you are? Fun and different.

excellent food and service, friendly atmosphere. Recommend booking a reservation. Quiet atmosphere so you can have a conversation with your group. Menu changes often so will return to check out new items.
