I am updating a bad review that I gave Zao 2 days ago. I ordered and paid online, picked up my food at the appointed time, drove back home and discovered a missing item. There is no number listed in their website or in their receipts attached to the food. So I couldn’t call the manager but instead sent an email. It took about 2 hours but Eva, the manager, called me after reading the email. During that 2 hour period, I’d rated the whole shebang poorly and especially the lack of attention/customer service and inability to talk to someone immediately. Eva made it right. She refunded the cost of the missing banh mi AND offered me a complementary banh mi when it was convenient for me. Sure enough, my name was on a list for the complementary wrap and the employees who made it happen couldn’t have been more gracious. The wrap was very good. Thank you, Eva and crew! I will return!

I selected a time for my take out order and got to the store at that time. The food was not ready. It took them another 30 minutes of me waiting in the store for my order. I could have stood in line and got my food wayyyyy faster. TERRIBLE SERVICE! I won’t be visiting this location ever again.

I did a green curry bowl with chicken the zao way. My friend is a vegetarian and he was pleased with his bowl as well.Vegetarian options: They make it to order with lots of choices.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was great at explaining the different dishes available. All the food looked resh. My meal was delicious and I loved the unique fruit drinks.
Super yummy! We love the one by our home. I was really impressed with how healthy and fresh everything is. I tried the salad and it was super refreshing. Love the dressing. Perfect for making healthy choices. Kids meals are $6 and include a drink.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals are great and they have high chairs.

I can't get enough of this place!! Whenever we are in the SLC area we have to come here more than once. This is the only place that serves up those thin styled rice noodle which I love! The green curry with tofu and chicken or tofu and meatballs in a bowl is my favorite. The staff is most always quick and clean, and the interior is always clean and easy to walk around in. I love how they don't have the coke or Pepsi choices as well!
