Zeppe's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard - Syracuse

Just had the worst service here tonight. We waited 15 minutes before the girl came and took out. She took some other kids order at the pick up window. We had to repeat our order multiple times and got our name wrong. She continued to yell out the wrong name and even made a snide comment before we went to the window to ask if she meant us. This was absolutely ridiculous and horrible behavior!!

Great service! The Italian ice cream is so delicious. Nice place to enjoy some ice cream in the summer.

I recently went to Zeppes in Syracuse and said my real name and left them a 15% tip and they wrote “you aint funny” on my cup I went on 6/3 and it was a blonde girl working who seems like she highly dislikes her job.

We waited over 45 mins for 4 gelatas, last day of school and they only had two people working. They kept just taking orders instead of filling the ones they had already taken

Very good custard . Plenty to choose from cups or cones .

We waited for 40 minutes in the drive thru line, then were handed half full cups of custard.

I come here with my mother in law almost every week. We like it but lately the bottom of the cups are empty so we feel kinda jipped.

Super long wait, guess the crowds mean people like it. Just don't expect it to be fast if you go during popular times.

Insanely slow service. I was sitting in the drive through for about 20 minutes before I just decided to leave. Ridiculous. I ordered too; I just feel like sitting there was wasting my time.

The custard and ice are terrible. All 3 of our desserts tasted like chemicals.

I normally don't have an issue here but this time we ordered two of the special chocolate covered strawberry gelatas and both of them did not taste of strawberry and had a massive taste of coconut which I absolutely hate. Not sure if the workers just used a red colored flavor but it taste more of tigers blood and they use vanilla custard instead of chocolate. So completely not close to what it is supposed to be very disappointed. Hopefully better next time.

This was so great to stop and grab a delicious Italian ice! Have not had one in years since moving out of Utah but Zeppe's is now all over northern Utah instead of just in Ogden and so glad to grab one every time we visit!

We come to this location often and generally don't have any problems. We stopped by this afternoon and the young man at the drive through apparently has not been trained and was asking questions on what flavor of custard we wanted in our gelata which we have never been asked before so in trying to clarify what he was talking about he got very belligerent and started yelling so we just drove off.

Service was decent, but the gelato was not as advertised. They just put cream on the top, and put one flavor on one side and the second flavor on the other with no cream in between. A little annoying but it’s fine.
