La Fountain Mexican Restaurant Tooele

The food was really good the portion from my fajitas was really big, enough for a full leftovers meal but I recommend to do two meats if you want more. Costumer services was cordial and helpful.

Ugh, the food is so bad. I have tried La Fountain in Tooele twice, and have left disappointed both times. My husband and I both found the food lacking in flavor, not good quality, and way more expensive than it should be.
The service and atmosphere was fine, but the food literally went in the trash, and we are not picky eaters.

Great place to eat, friendly service.

So delicious. This is a good to place that my family feels never let's us down when it comes to quality and consistency. It does get pretty busy on the weekends, so if you eat in- the servers take some time to get to your table (which is understandable.) But we usually call and order in for takeout, and it is always fresh, hot and made well. The best Mexican Restaurant we have in town for sure!

My boyfriend and I were in Tooele today and decided to give La Fountain Mexican Restaurant a try, what a disappointment. Our server was great and she was very friendly. The restaurant itself was clean. Our chips and salsa were also great. We had high hopes at this point! We both ordered smothered chili Verde burritos with cheese and rice and beans. The burritos came out warm, not hot and were completely flavorless. The sauce tasted as if it was missing ingredients and bland. The rice and beans were on a separate plate, barely warm and also completely flavorless. We also ordered a side shredded beef taco and chicken taco. The beef taco was like eating a taco shell full of beef jerky, it was so tough and dry. The chicken taco tasted like canned chicken with low sodium seasoning on it and also came out barely warm. Each taco had a handful of shredded cheese that was cold and looked and tasted like cheap cheddar cheese straight from a bag. We each took one bite of the tacos and couldn't finish any of the rest of the food we ordered. I'm sad to say I would not recommend this restaurant and hope they can make some changes. However, the service was great and clean!

Hair in my food, enough said. My server was nice hence the 3 star. Didn't make up for the rude hostess. Will not be giving them another penny of my money.

The ground beef and chicken needs more flavor if you get that option for your taco, burrito, ect. I love that if I get the smothered option there will always be pork pieces! Love the 2 salsa options

They overcharged me for my 6 smothers burritos. Ordered a week ago and it was 37.00 for 6 today when I came it was 51.00. When confronted they said it’s because they individually charged me for them instead of 3 and 3 together. Called the manager and they are super unprofessional. Told me it’s my fault when the lady who took my order messed up. They wouldn’t refund me the difference or try to make it right they told me I’m out of luck. Sad because I’ve been coming here since a kid and tried to explain but they don’t care about the long term loyal customers. Looked at a bunch of other reviews online and this I guess isn’t new behavior. The owner really needs to look into replacing management and staff with managers and servers that don’t make the company look bad. With all these new business around we won’t put up with bad attitude and service. Everybody will go to any of the other new food establishments even if the food isn’t as good for better service and fair bills! I don’t even care about the 14 dollar difference I care about the way they didn’t try to make it right and not fixing their mistake. They made me drive from Grantsville to tooele with the food saying they would make it right. When I showed up they told me to go f*** myself! Thanks for making me drive back up for no reason just to tell me in person. La fountain has 10/10 service let me tell you they should change their name to dicks 😂

Food and service was excellent.
Especially if you like fresh homemade style food.
Food came out hot and freshly made. Rice was so clean and delicious. 2 kinds of salsa. The chunky was the best.

Make sure you get the smothered chile verde burrito with cheese and also anything with carnitas. I also like the al pastor tacos.

They used to be really good. This time something was wrong with the enchilada sause. Mt boyfriend had the enchiladas. He said they tasted terrible and just picked at them. He ended up getting really sick. Maybe they have a new cook? Or kept the sause too long?

I ordered a grilled chicken taco. Just the single taco. They charged 8 dollars for this. It was so dry and plain. All that was in it was a little grilled chicken which was dry, shredded cheese and iceberg shredded lettuce. The tortilla claims to be homemade. It did not taste good. My dad is from Mexico. I know what homemade tortillas are supposed to taste like. I would have gotten better tasting food from Taco Bell.

I gave the service a 3 star because although the person was nice, they got my order for drinks wrong.

The atmosphere was just like a typical looking Mexican restaurant. Nothing special.

I definitely will not be going back and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Ever!
