Great, giant burger on the scenic 12, close to capitol reef. Would recommend this gem to anyone going through the area. It’s a food truck with no seating. You’ll have to eat it in your car or at a table next door.

I purchased the Mac and cheese burger. The Mac and cheese was the only thing edible. Ha the burger was soooo salty I couldn’t eat it. Picnic tables out to sit and eat but they’re not washed so they’re pretty dirty to sit on but I suppose if you have been hiking all day and are already dirty it’s fine… with that said my friend purchased a burger with blue cheese and she was in heaven. She said the bleu (blue) cheese makes the difference. So if you decided you are going to give this little joint a shot yourself consider the bleu cheese and request the cooks to go light on the seasonings ?

AMAZING burgers! We had Mac and cheese burger and mushroom blue cheese burger. The Mac and cheese burger was very flavourful. And the combination fitted perfectly. The smoked green chillies added a great taste to the whole burger and they were not at all spicy. I would recommend them to strat selling Mac and cheese separately too. It was really the best Mac and cheese I have had. The mushroom blue cheese burger was also very delicious. I don't like strong flavor of blue cheese usually but it fitted perfectly in the burger. That's the only picture I have and it doesn't do justice to the taste ?

Fantastic burgers! We had the Mac and Cheese and the Blue Cheese and mushroom. Both were amazing and very reasonably priced. The patty in the Mac and cheese was a bit too well done for my taste. But the Mac and cheese itself was worth it alone. The mushroom burger was a dream, with creamy, fragrant mushrooms and a good blue cheese sauce, to die for!

First thought: it was one of the best burgers I have eaten from a burger shop in the last years, however I think it has some room for improvement. (4.3 stars I would say)Details: I ordered a cheeseburger for 11.25 USD. The price is normal. If you take fries and drinks extra its plus 4 USD, which makes it good value. The burger was made relatively fast.The Burger tasted really well rounded. The bun was nice and fluffy. The beef was tasty and fatty with some crust. Lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions seemed fresh. In my opinion there was a bit too much lettuce. If you remove some lettuce you probably also don't run into the problem of the burger not properly build together (see picture). The sauce fit well, especially with the lettuce. It reminded me a bit of a salat dressing. The sauce was a bit runny, hence eating it was a bit of a mess. On the other side when the beef was out at one bite, it recovered the flavour really good for the rest of the burger.Also there could have been some more onions on it (maybe also add a caramelized onions option :)). A touch for me was missing however, maybe use an other kind of seasoned pickles, which have more flavour. Gotta try.Funny thing is I make my burgers at home very similar and you don't often find them like here in this style without doing any mistakes. This is the reason it is good. In my opinion this style and burger in general should be standard. You feel like these people here ate a lot of burgers themselves and came to this whereas other burger shops didn't even try to eat different styles and make something good. Because they often already fail with the basics..My thought after eating: it was like a poem.Exactly like when I eat my burgers.However I think doing some tweaks as mentioned above wouldn't hurt.If you would want, you could also change the buns to selfmade and use different buns, but that would put the burger in an other category.Summary: one of the best burgers I tried in the past few years. No stupid mistakes made and tasty. Give it a go of you like Burgers and you're nearby.

Solid burgers, fairly priced. I’ve had quite a few burgers I like more but bump a star for quality in a semi-remote spot. The fries reminded us of McDonalds. Super chewy, tasted only of salt. I would definitely return if in the area but wouldn’t put it as memorable.Vegetarian options: Beyond Burger

I have traveled through New England and Florida but now live in Arizona and travel through Utah and Colorado often. Capitol Burger is by far the best burger this burger lover has had! Amazing freshness, burger size impressive, and the fixings are all fresh! Oh and for fellow pickle lovers, taste like they pickle their own pickles. Capitol Burger is a must stop in!

Read all the rave reviews so had high expectations- we got the bacon cheeseburger, Mac and cheese burger, mushroom blue cheese, and pastrami burger. Overall solid burgers, especially for the prices, and can only imagine that if they came out a bit hotter that they would have been even better. The mushroom blue cheese had the most unique flavor, and would come back to give it another go.
