Kids found it ‘ok’, for my wife and myself, this was not the Mexican food we hoped to find based on the excellent google reviews. We ordered the tamales and the enchiladas. Will not return.
On a roadtrip from Bryce Canyon to Provo we made a stop at Chak Balam! The place serves flavorful mexican food. The guacamole is freshly made!
The restaurant is bright and service was friendly and quick! Would definitely recommend for anyone craving a good snack when passing through!
Really delicious and huge portions. Best Horchata I have ever had - WOW
Super quick food amazing service and delicious
Food was amazing same with service and it was fast
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Ed and his crew at Chak Balam. They catered my family reunion at the Fruita campground for 100 people. The whole process was smooth. Ed always communicated with me, and was adaptable to any and all changes I needed to make. He worked to fit the budget I had and time frame to make it work. The food,... absolutely delicious. Everyone was talking about it all evening long. Definitly a high point of our gathering. Enthusiastic thumbs up from the Meeks family!
I had lovely mole enchiladas here - very tasty and authentic. Service was very friendly.
This is hands down the best Mexican food we have ever had. That says a lot because Mexican food is one of our fortes. Each dish has its own unique taste with lots of flavor. You can tell they put the love in their cooking. I will miss this place until we are able to come back. Thank you!
Delicious. I can see where people are saying they need some more spice, but Delicious none the less. We had Flautas, Tostadaa, Enchiladas, and their amazing Asade fries. Wait, staff and food prep were both quick and courteous.
5 star restaurant.

Nice place. The food was delicious. Service was a little slow. There was only one server working the night we were there; don't know if that is a consistent staffing level, a one-off because someone called out sick, or if it was due end of season issues (we were there in early November.) Took about 25 minutes to get our food order in. However, our food came out quickly after we ordered and it was very good. We were in no hurry so the wait didn't interfere with our plans. Would give them another chance if we are ever back in Torrey.

Went after a long hike in Capital Reef and was worried when we saw there was only one server for almost a full place. He was amazing though - efficiently got everyone’s orders and drinks out quickly.
The chile relleno was delicious, but the highlight was we asked for a side of mole sauce and honestly think it was the best we have ever had!

This is a good, solid Mexican restaurant. The service is very friendly, the food is good, and the atmosphere is very cute (they’re currently heavily decorated for Halloween).
The fajitas are good, all of their desserts are delicious. Good portion sizes with fair prices.
The hours listed online are not accurate for this time of year/fall/off-season (usually local restaurants move to a Thursday-Sunday, dinner-only schedule). They have a lit up OPEN sign on in their window when they’re open.
