Famous for their elk chili this was a great post-hike stop to take in some of Bryce Canyon's history. They offer entrees or buffet, which consists of soup, salad, chili and deserts.
My husband and I had 3 consecutive dinners at the lodge this week and were happy every time. We stuck to simple orders, mostly salads, but always fresh and tasty. The service was consistently outstanding and we were usually seated promptly. I’ve seen several less favorable reviews so wanted to post a more positive one based on our recent experience.
My group of around 6 people came to this restaurant while the buffet was up. The buffet had a decent selection of foods. The "Elk Chili" has beef in it, so I'm not sure why they would try to include an elk product on their menu when it is paired with beef and only tasted of beef.
