Menu descriptions don't match food and the server was a little snotty about there being no alcohol service. "Creamy" doesn't mean made with coconut milk or dairy - don't know what it means. I guess it's great if you are vegan because that's what they're pushing (paid extra for poor meat). Not okay if you can't eat nightshades. There was no mention of tomato base or bell peppers or other allergen ingredients on the menu description....
Khao-Hom has moved into a brick and mortar restaurant at 56 West Main Street. I ordered massaman curry with tofu, specifying that I am vegetarian. The spice level 1 was mild for me, I probably could have gone for 2, (they offer 1-5), but I didn't want to overdo it as the gal said to take the spice levels "seriously." The curry was delicious and value for money. I'm so glad Khao-Hom has a dine-in restaurant. I'll definitely come here again.
If I could give it a 6 out of 5 I would. I’ve had Thai from a lot of great restaurants in the Denver area with all levels of authenticity. This left them all in the dust. The drunken noodles were fantastic at a level 3 spiciness. And you’ll never guess where the restaurant is parked. IYKYK.
