I dont recommend Balcony One if you have a party that is required to get a banquet room, I had a party of 18 , room charge is $250 and I agree but asked if they had a kids menu option since i’ll have 2 young children(one being 4 years old) at this dinner and they say yes then weeks later tell me that they won’t allow us to get a kids meal and we are required to get them something off the adult $40 a head menu due to my private server needing a $40+ head count per person. I have picture proof in our emails saying what we agreed on. I was unable to make reservations elsewhere at this point of them telling me so what else can I do at that point? I was also shocked after looking at their regular everyday menu prices and seeing the menu they gave me with the exact same plate for the lowest priced item being $16 and $28 for the highest plate option on the menu and salads were supposed to be included as talked about in emails but we didn’t receive them. Our event was still special but we had many conflicts having dinner here.

🥩 Generous Portions – Ordered steak, ribs, and lamb chops—plenty of food, and we even had leftovers to take home.

🍲 Highlight: French Onion Soup – Rich, flavorful, and definitely a standout dish.

🎨 Elegant Ambiance – Beautifully designed space with stunning oil paintings; we even met an artist explaining her own work.

🍷 Charming Bar & Outdoor Seating – Both the cozy indoor bar and scenic outdoor patio added to the experience.

🏡 A Hidden Gem in the Countryside – Impressive attention to detail in both decor and atmosphere.

⭐ 5/5 – A beautifully crafted dining experience in an unexpected location. Worth a visit!

Born and raised in St. George with family roots in virgin that date back to the 1800s. -as a child, I knew the sage was edible and was wondering WHY nobody was using it, and this restaurant NAILED IT. The sage vinaigrette is made in house and is truly a treasure from the desert.
I have been living in the Midwest for over 10 years and fly home when I can, it’s been 2 years since my last trip and I’m STILL craving that sage vinaigrette.

We were surprised with how good this place was. Not wanting to overeat, we split a meal with the pork chop as our entree. The smoked flavor of the pork was excellent, not overpowering. The peach chutney was a little sparse, but added a nice sweet note to the smoky chop. I’m not a fan of Brussel sprouts, but my wife said the maple-flavored sprouts were the best she’s ever had— and she’s a serious foodie! We started with the Spanikopita, again the best we’ve had, and we’ve been to Greece. Finally, had the chocolate topped crème puff. Yum… This was a meal well worth driving for. And, Rachel was a great waitress! Thanks, Balcony One.😁

What an amazing experience! The customer service was top-notch! The returant was clean, inviting, and very welcoming! If you want a great place to eat dinner in a quiet setting; this is the place! I enjoy their steak, Alfredo. It was cooked to perfection! I also enjoy a chocolate martini. For dessert, they brought out a dessert tray to choose from. I would definitely suggest the carmel bisquiti moose. It was delicious! It was the best valentines day treat I did for myself.

We visited Balcony One every day when we traveled to Zion in 2021. The food was so good I could still taste the pork chop while thinking about it. I was searching for the name while making recommendations for food near Zion to a friend. Sad to find out it is closed. Hopefully it comes back soon.

Honestly, I’m not sure how this place has as good of reviews as it does. Extremely overpriced. The oven roasted chicken came out with a spoonful of cold bland rice and a few cold broccoli florets. The chicken was warm, almost cold and tasteless. The atmosphere/table setting is awkward. We were sat at a half round table that faced the parking lot. I appreciate them comping the chicken without being asked, but still would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.
