OK let's get be crystal clear: the owner/host/waiter/cashier/curator is a sweet man who clearly loves to serve people and share his passion with the tourists who stumble upon this establishment. That said, the food is ok: No, it's not inedible but it's also not 'the best burger you've ever had'. The vaule in a 2024 economy is below average. We went there for dinner, but we got a lot more than just food. Bob the owner provides an experience that you're not likely to forget. His colorful and larger than life personality will stay with you much longer after you had enjoyed and digested the food. The food itself is not extraordinary, You have your standard greasy spoon fare, but again you have to hear how Bob lovingly describes his food. Great little find. The steak sandwich was excellent. Best tasting sandwich we have had in a while. A few pieces of gristle but not bad. The fries were fresh and tasted home made. The buffalo burger was great. And heed Bob's warning no ketchup necessary. I love that they have cards out to encourage you to talk and play and not be on your phones.
