I had never been to TRH, even though I am from Texas. This place should take "Texas" off its name so it doen't give us a bad reputation. The waiter was hostile, condescending, and aloof. He replied in monosylables to inquiries. He seemed in a hurry to be done with the table. I requested a 9 oz. wine and he brought a 5 oz. eay into our meal start. When I confronted him he was contentious ad argumentarive. He called the manager, who switched servers. The meat was dry, the salad tasteless. They charged me twice for the wine, but they fixed it. Y'all judge if you want to visit this place. In my case, this was a first and last.

We like this restaurant chain typically. This one was fine and as expected except for a few things. The service went above and beyond. There was good participation by the staff in dancing to country songs. Trying to walk around the restaurant is very difficult though. Every time one of us stood up, we were nearly crashed into by another person in the restaurant. Are the aisles actually more narrow than usual? Rolls, appetizers, and drink refills took longer than usual.

Every time I get a steak and ask for medium or medium rare, it's always raw. And I'm not even kidding. It always has to be sent back to be cooked for longer. Then they end up overcooking it. The first few times I asked for medium rare I thought I just needed to ask for a level up so I started asking for medium but nope! It's still always raw. They don't seem to know how long a steak should be cooked for each level. Last time, my wife ordered it well done but they gave it to her medium well.

I've dinned at Texas roadhouses throughout the country. These are one of my favorite restaurants during my trips. I always stop over and grab a dinner at one of them if there is one around. I have to say this particular location was one of the most underwhelming ones I've been to. Our steaks were ordered medium rare but brought to the table rare. Not a big of a deal but still. Our appetizer never arrived and were apparently taken to the wrong table. We ordered drinks, Bourbon on the rocks, and there was literally one small shot of booze per glass filled with ice.

I cannot believe people are allowed to bring pets into a restaurant! There was a dog fight in the waiting area between a pet and a service animal. It's abuse to the poor pets to subject them to a crowded, noisy atmosphere. Allowing pets could bring lawsuits, not to mention it is against the board of health rules. Then we were subjected to a server screaming at the top of his lungs. It was so loud, several servers (including mine) apologized for it. It was so loud, they got my order wrong, making me wait while my wife and friends ate. Next time I go out, it won't be where I'm subjected to dogs near my food and screaming servers!
We love coming here for special events, my son had the best birthday dinner here and keeps talking about the server who called him "legendary" and gave him ice cream! It can get way busy and backed up but it's always worth it.
