Flavors of India was one of those go-to place I went when I was living in Utah, usually on my way to MRS Hobby in Sandy or just after stopping at Smith and Edwards just across the street. Overall a great place in West Jordan to stop for some Indian food.
The Atmosphere is fantastic. Nice, bright colors, artwork depicting scenes from India and the TVs actually play some Bollywood music videos and cricket matches to boot. Very much an enjoyable environment.
Overall I never had a bad experience regarding service. They were pretty good at ensuring my water was filled and were able to turn around food pretty quickly.
As for the food, while the menu doesn't state it you can have them adjust the spice level in your food. For those who are a bit timid with the spices, definitely let your server know to back off on the spice as needed. That said, they have a nice variety of curries, samosas, naan and other Indian dishes. I usually stuck to chicken tikka masala or the occasional lamb vindaloo but I've had their saag soup and some saag panner as well. Very flavorable, the accompanying rice as freshly steamed; my only wish there was a bit more rice served with their curries. I've even had their buffet once and I was pleased with the quality of the food on their buffet as I tried several different dishes and found them all to be fresh and enjoyable.
If you're in West Jordan and want some Indian cuisine, Flavors of India is definitely a good restaurant to try out.

Unnecessarily expensive for dinner. Food tasted really good. Unfortunately there was no spice level on the menu whatsoever. The server asked what spice level we wanted our main entrees but our appetizer and even our mild stuff was randomly spicy. The raita, which I deem necessary for Indian food, was $5.99. Anybody that doesn't know Indian cuisine would be hard pressed to come spend that much money on dinner. Just me for dinner I would expect to pay $40 to get a meal. It's not worth $40.

I absolutely love this place!!! I've been coming here for years and even after moving an hour away, we still drive out cuz its my favorite Indian food place 😊 I have not tried everything on their menu but the Paneer Tikka Masala is to die for. And their Butter Chicken is unrivaled :)

Good choice for Indian food.
I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the attention to detail really showed in every bite. Will 100% be back!

Amazing food! Went in for a take out order of butter chicken and cheese nan, and the flavors were incredible. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and head chef. Very nice local people with an amazing restaurant. Highly recommend local spot for all of those craving good food.
The sights, the smells, the sounds....the tastes! Delicious. 10/10 Will be returning <3
Very enjoyable, charming!
This place is so much better than some of the trendy places around! We have done takeout and the lunch buffet and it is consistently amazing. The prices are also much better than many other places nearby. Everyone is so nice and helpful and patient. Vegetable korma and the classic chicken tikka masala have been our favorites. The garlic naan is also always on point!
This is my favorite Indian place in the valley. They’re one of the only places that is consistent with their flavors, and that does a buffet! 🤩 A really good one that is super affordable.
I love the classics here: butter chicken, tikka masala, coconut korma, samosas, mango lassi, etc. but also aloo (potato) gobi (cauliflower), gobi Manchurian (fried cauliflower), saag (spinach) paneer (cheese curds), biryani (rice dishes), and the tandoori chicken (cooked in clay pot). I get most of these at the buffet! 🤩 all together is the best! Do yourself a favor and get the gulab jamun (what I call pancake balls in rose syrup 🥰)
