I'm from East Los Angeles, fruit carts and elote man/woman who cruise your neighborhood is how I grew up!I mean inflation is real and I'm pretty sure the street corn is probably not $1.25 that I used to enjoy about a decade ago. Such is life and the economy!I got the fruit cup, pushed me back about $10. There was more of a variety, but I opted for just pineapple, watermelon and strawberries. I'm like a 5 year old in a almost 40 year old body! :)It's very fresh! And delicious for my post gym carb delight! It's located in the parking lot of Cal Ranch stores near Hot dog on the stick. I really don't like that street very much (lots of accidents), but I accidentally went down it and saw the truck and stopped! If you are looking for fresh fruit-Mexican style with chamoy etc, this is your place! I can't vouch for any other item but what I got, but I'm sure it's all tasty!Love you Yelpies!

I usually love this place but i went there today and spent almost $20 for fruit that was not fresh and the mango was overripe :(

I can't drive by without stopping at Gonzalez Fruit Truck. They make the best Esquite. I always order the Mangonada. Delicious!

I was glad to try this fruit truck coming from Houston where they on every corner. It was disappointing to hear that they didn't have any aguas frescas but they had a lot of choices. I got the mixed fruit and it was good but I'm sure it's much better when the fruit is in season.
