First time golfing here, did the back 9. The rough was REALLY long for some reason, but otherwise a nice course with some long par 4s. Course is very forgiving overall and great for a nice relaxed game.
Nice track for a muni course, greens were nice, well maintained. Looking forward to playing here again.
The course has improved a lot since they put in the new sprinkler system last year. The greens have a ways to go still but seem to be improving
I’ve never left a review for a golf course before, but these guys earned this one.
The tee time website feels like it was developed by Matthew Broderick in War Games.
The front desk guys are as about as welcoming as the teenagers working at Ross.
The course is in as good of shape as the old Candlestick Park.
The greens have more bald spots than Vin Diesel.
If you like wasting your money, this is the course for you.
Great course for new/intermediate golfers, the greens are getting much better under new management. Fairways are wide and the rough isn’t terribly thick. Chill pressure from other golfers helps also.
Fairways are wide and the rough isn’t terrible compared to some courses. River oaks isn’t forgiving at all compared to Mountain View.
There was a lighting storm and we ran for cover..its a God mishap. 🤔
Best round I've ever shot! 92! M40:26hdc
Started really golfing seriously last year but have only played 3 rounds this year (2025). Just had some lucky putts and shots. I really enjoyed the front 9 layout. With an early tee time, I didn't love shooting into the sun on 2. Other than that I have nothing bad to say. $5 for a bucket of balls about 35 was a perfect warm up before the round. The roughs were a bit deep that it was sometimes difficult to find your ball if you ended up in the rough.
Course is in great shape. They have put allot into this
I have played here 1-2 times a year the past 5 years and the rough is HORRIBLE
I spent more time looking for my ball in the rough than playing, i dont know what is going on, i want to change my review but i did NOT HAVE FUN playing here, wont try again until next season.
so so so bad
Actually baffling how poorly maintained this course is

The rough was one thing but I’m more disgusted with the food prices. $7.99 for a tiny little hot dog. Also got an Arnold Palmer ice tea and tipped 15% for a total $15. There’s no way that should have been anywhere over $10.
Garbage. Someone needs to do their job and cut the grass. Won’t be back.
A boring straight forward course but they decided they wanted to make the rough be like the US Open and have it so if you are even a foot off the fairway you are punished and can't find your ball. Also have their ground crew out weedwacking around the benches and hole signs at 845 while people are teeing off so really fun. Won't be back
This course is in such bad shape. There are dirt patches on the green. The rough is consistently 8 inches long I even watched them cut the grass this long (the pga doesn’t even have rough that long) which makes it impossible to find your ball even if you’re a foot off the fairway. The price is crazy given the condition of the course. Play anywhere else. I would rather go to mulligans. What a dissatisfying way to spend money.
Landscapers obnoxiously mowing for the first 6 holes while we were trying to play. Driving right past us and not stopping while we hit. Course is in rough condition even though it's end of May already
