"budget chinese" but nothing budget about it. Tries to pass off as authentic chinese but panda express tastes more authentic than this. Come in on a sunday since it was the only chinese restrauntant open, we order beef flat noodles and the dinner moo goo gia pan but both dishes were flavorless; Tasted like boiled chicken with not even salt added to water. We were the only costumers (now i know why) and i had to keep getting up to ask for water, hot sauce and to go boxes. We took our leftovers home to recook with added seasoning. This place is not authetic. This place is not good. This place is not budget friendly. I was happiest with the fortune cookie because it was the only thing with taste. Honesty you would be happier eating from panda express.

I had the entertainment book app. And It kept bringing up Red lantern, to go use the coupon. Well after thinking about it, I finally decided buy one get one half off was a good deal. So I went there. I got my beef and broccoli and my chicken lo mein. I handed the guy the phone screen that has the redeem button (just like groupon). The guy presses the redeem coupon button on my phone. Then looks at me and says what's this? I told him it was their coupon. He said no, we only accept print coupons. He refused to take it, even though he clicked the redeem button so now I cannot use it anymore. He was an older guy. Depending on his mood all the times I have went he is snappy and makes me feel horrible for showing up there. I just can't believe the whole scenario. I just told him to have a nice day and I left, and it sounded like he was cursing me, but I don't speak chinese so I could be wrong. I don't think I will be coming back.

Interesting place. Food quality and service are very inconsistent. The times I've gone is always around 2:30- 3:00 after the lunch rush. Sometimes they seat you immediately and the food is delicious and sometimes the food feels like they microwaved it from the day before and you have to wait five minutes because the server is nowhere to be found and this is while the whole place is empty, the times I've been there there are no more than two tables occupied besides me. Food it's meh. Really greasy and their fried rice it's always kind of hard and it feels and tastes like it's old. Last time I went I asked for some chili oil and when they brought it it smelled really weird, similar to rancid oil or something. Summary: clean place, ok service, food is nothing to write home about but has never made sick at the same time you can only give certain places a number of chances. This one is getting crossed from my list. Not worth coming back.
