As Polish I was so happy to see Polish store after moving to SLC area and unfortunately the store was very disappointing. Not many products, two products I bought were expired, the rest I don’t know because I didn’t check. The pickles were soft and falling apart which means they were sitting ona shelf in a heat for way too long. Knorr product was expired. Please improve the quality and quantity and check products on the shelves periodically… plus no paprika chips:(

We have been coming to this place for the last year We have eaten in and taken things to go.We usually get pierogi's they are so yummy, not today. All twelve pierogi's were busted open and flat. What a disappointment!

Rise is a quaint little Polish store, that makes you feel like you have gone back in time, that you're sitting at your grandmother's kitchen table and she is feeding you all your favorite childhood dishes. They have pizza on the menu, but it's nothing like what you would find in an Italian pizzeria. Rise makes the kind of hearty pizza you will only find in Central and Eastern Europe. The crust is thicker and the meat selection packes more of a punch. Order one of their pizzas and you won't have to eat for the rest of the day. It's different but it's truly delicious. I also tried their golubki and meatballs, which were both paired with the most delicious pickled mixed salad. I'm kicking myself that I didn't pick up a jar, from their Polish grocery section, while I was there. I've eaten their European donuts a hundred times and they never disappoint. Also they make the most beautiful choux pastry swans, which I believe would make the most amazing cake topper. Overall Rise is the ultimate place to go for European comfort food. So go check them out!

Excellent little Polish market, great imported goods, excellent menu of fresh made Polish food. Pierogi's, Polish meatball plate, and a Vavel Litvit drink from the fridge 🤘😃🤘

First of all, we needed this! Polish food is underrepresented in this state! We found out about this place by accident and came the next day. It is a small market with a pretty good selection of Polish dry goods. Some refrigerated items, some bakery. We stocked on some staples ahead of Easter.
We also grabbed some food at the attached restaurant. Their menu is not really traditional Polish, more Polish-American/“Chicago Polish”. I say this with no disrespect at all. Pizza and hotdogs are not traditionally Polish dishes. We had ruskie pierogi, which were great. Gołąbki were on point. Kopytka were a bit mushy. Giardiniera-style vegetables on the side were good, but again, more Chicago than Poland. Also had apple pie - szarlotka - which was good, but it’s so much better at room temperature or warmed up. But of course I get it why it’s refrigerated. Pączki were very good. You can’t really get them anywhere in the state, so kudos.
Overall, very good, will definitely come back.
My only question is - what is up with all the spelling mistakes on the menu? Both in English and Polish?

Wow, I can't say enough about how good this place is. My wife and I shared a plate and some pierogies. Both were absolutely fantastic! The stuffed cabbage plate came with potato dumplings cooked with bacon and vegetables that contained perfectly roasted carrots, ribbon zucchini, and pickled zucchini that was to die for.
We'll be back often and next time will bring home some bakery items, and groceries.

Amazing Polish bakery & cafe. I wish they had Polish crepes (naleśniki) and a variety platter (sausage, sauerkraut [kapusta], pierogi, potato, etc. in one), but it's still delicious a la carte. I went here for Paczki Day (Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras) for our annual treat, and they didn't disappoint! I highly recommend trying their amazing meals & pastries, and buy some imports as well, they won't disappoint!

You should absolutely visit here! The food was so good even a day later I'm still thinking about it! I live up in Ogden and will be stopping here every time I'm in SLC this point forward!

My new favorite place! Such a neat and clean little store and restaurant. The Zupa Ogarkowa was so tasty and authentic. It came with a delicious, warm roll baked in-house with a tasty bacon spread. And SO AFFORDABLE! The entire meal was 6 dollars, including tax. Everything from the vibe to the food made me feel like I had teleported to my grandmother’s kitchen in Ukraine! I will be a regular from now on!
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian soups (well, I’m assuming they’re vegetarian. They could be made with bone broth but I doubt it. Many Eastern European soups are not made with bones.)

I've been looking for Polish or Ukrainian food for a while now and I'm so happy I finally found it! It tastes exactly how I remember it tasted in Poland. Brings me childhood memories!! The only thing i would like to address is that pierogi had slightly less salt than I'm used to but that's okay :)
