Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I have SO many good things to say about Rita's.
They have the best Italian ice and love making it gelato.
They have many different flavors of custards shakes and more!
My favorite is the cotton candy.
The only downfall is they don't have many locations so it's quite far from us. But we still are willing to take the trip because my kids absolutely love it 💖

We came here tonight at 9 :11 pm. We drove from across the valley to come and bring our kids & looked up the hours before we came and it said it closed at 10 pm. Then we got here the door said closes at 10 pm on fri nights. We walked in to people eating still & the young girl said we're closed we ran out of everything. I was upset & said your door & online says 10 pm. She said sorry & its such rude business etiquette to do that to customers. Also i watched atleast 15 peoople try to go into the store & were told its closed too. Soo you lost alot of business due to your hours being wrong & not correctly posting that online & on your door to reflect new hours supposedly!! It makes me almost never want to give you business again by being told through separate entities that you were open & turned us down. She literally lied saying all the slushie & icecream were gone ( she ran out of everything) ! Wow! Too me it looked like she wanted to close early & go home before the customers were even out of the building & done eating.

I left a good review a few months ago because I had a good experience with the worker she was very nice but tonight there was a blonde female worker who was extremely rude claiming “there wasn’t enough cotton candy” when clearly there was ESPECIALLY for a gelati. She basically forced me to choose another flavor along with the cotton candy even when I told her to just do the cotton candy even if it’s not enough. She didn’t even put a layer of custard on the bottom of the gelati LIKE how it’s supposed to be. Honestly one of my worst experiences getting food.

This was a large… would never go back. Horrible customer service. How much do you really charge for one scoop. This is insane. Talk about shrinkflation.

Best custard in Utah, got the pumpkin mixed with the coffee toffee and was absolutely blown away. Cashier was extremely nice :)
