We had the ghee dosa and poori and the taste was excellent ! Very authentic South Indian flavors.

The owner Satheesh talks lot about cleanliness and honesty .. but none of that is reflected in his business .. cheap containers that melted into food adding microplastic to your system .. adding a staff will take care of those piled up dishes that looks unwelcoming .. no longer serving lunch/thalis .. looks like serving breakfast combo all day seems to be more profitable .. it’s pricey too .. hope he follows what he preaches ..

Expensive and not worth a visit. This used to be the best restaurant for dosa but unfortunately after owner change - it has gone downhill so fast. Everything is stale, unhygienic and half the menu is never available. We used to go there once a week but its just too bad to waste money by eating here.

Very High Prices and on top of that rude staff and bad service.
The guy at the counter doesn’t even care about you. I was standing there waiting to order and the guy at the counter was just ignoring me and when he finally came he wad adjusting the music instead of taking the food order. I waited so long for the order and when I asked him about it, he rudely asked me to take what was given wait.
The washroom is never clean and the tables are always dirty. We have to wipe before and after our food.
The music is so loud we couldn’t hear each other speak.

I was disappointed in the quality of the food based on the reviews. Please offer healthier options for the price we are paying. It is unfortunate that there are no restaurants in the valley that prepare fresh food daily, as frozen food seems to be the norm. We were especially displeased with the frozen pooris served here. Why are we charged so much for frozen pooris, beans, etc., compromising public health?

Paying $20-$25 per person, we shouldn't have to clean tables used by previous customers. When I asked a lady at the counter to clean the table, she was rude. Being disrespectful to customers will not benefit your business in any way.

I will not be returning to this establishment. Thank you for making our day worse.

Thumbs down ?

Horrible customer service, meh food, and unsanitary conditions

The food is ok. They have a monopoly over the vegetarian South Indian market, and that’s the only reason why they still exist. It’s quite expensive for what is offered, but whatever..
The real issue is- the service! It is simply PATHETIC. The woman at the counter is super rude. Not just once, I have had this experience multiple times.
Most recently- I had placed an order for 3 items on DoorDash. And they canceled and refunded an item without informing me. So I called them directly to add a replacement on the same order.
The woman on the phone got so mad at me that I told her that they should’ve contacted me before directly canceling the item and cut the call very rudely and abruptly.
This situation - where the item I ordered on DoorDash not being available, has happened before at other restaurants. I have always received a call from the restaurant, asking if I want a refund or a replacement. This is the norm, it’s not too much to ask.
There was no reason for the lady to behave so rudely to a paying customer.
And don’t even get me started on the cleanliness of the place. The tables, the self service (if you are charging the same amount of money as other restaurants, it’s about time you offer full service like them as well), and the area at the back where customers need to go drop off plates.. the whole area smells like some trash site.
Bad experience each time.
The arrogance of having the market majority is just appalling.

One of the best South Indian restaurant around Salt Lake City serving authentic tiffins. Loved Nellore karam dosa, poori and parotta and pani poori. Approved by my toddlers too.
