I liked the crispy tripas
Best taco’s around.
I decided to go after reading the reviews and was not disappointed.
Little hot inside
Tacos Lopez Tijuana Style was good. I tried three tacos and liked the Al Pastor the best. The others were okay. The restaurant has an open kitchen and they must have just cut onions that made my eyes watery. I would recommend taking your order to go.

Over priced to go. And did not give quality food. I should have checked my food before I left. The man at the register is very rude. I will not return. I was a first time customer and last.

A must stop in Salt Lake City, one of the best, if not the best tacos in the city. The meat is very tasty, soft and the tacos are well served.

Oh my goodness, this place is dangerous in that you'll crave it again and again. Easily the best tacos I have had in SLC. Highly recommend the vampiros al pastor.
Sauce bar has flavorful sauces that pack lots of heat, with thinly sliced radish and lime wedges.

Cross-contamination extravaganza!! No interest in food safety by the manager. Toilet lid splatter with dry feces, there was no toilet paper or hand washing soap. No hand washing by employees observed over the span of more than one hour. No glove change between high risk tasks by kitchen staff.
To top it off, the South American female cashier was arrogant, dismissive, and appeared to be bothered to take food orders from people she feels are beneath her. -The experience was a huge disappointment to me and to my friends I brought along that late evening! If you go there, I suggest not using the restroom or paying too much attention to how employees are handling your food in the kitchen!! One last thing, if they get your order wrong, don’t expect they will make it right; the manager will simply blame you and say that you are the one who ordered wrong. And I suggest you bring your own drink, (flat soft drinks are olmos $5 for small cup -no refills).
In fairness I have to admit that the observations described in this review are based on my experience during a single visit, but the experience was so impactful that I had to voice my review. If I ever go back and have an improved experience, I will update this review -as it would only be fair to do!
