Hate when a tip is added. It always makes it weird because I normally would tip way more.

Has a whole new staff that will nickle and dime you. We spend $700+ during our family outings and won't be doing so anymore. FYI, if you order a kids drink, just order a regular size, because they'll charge you the same for less!!
Amazing food with efficient and friendly service!

Let me preface this first on how much I love Tepanyaki. It is my favorite restaurant and I go almost every other weekend. I've gone to every Tepanyaki in Utah, and this one is the best. Affordable fine dining with some of the best food I've eaten. I highly recommend the Geisha special substituting with a Filet.
However, my previous experience has been my first negative evening at any Tepanyaki ever.
We had an awful cook 2 weeks ago. They seemed Indian(Eastern), they wore a mask, and you couldn't hear a word he said. It was like they got a random guy off the side of the road and told him to cook which is a stark contrast to the very experienced cooks I normally get. Do you know how the chefs will tap their spatulas in rhythm to oriental music? Our guy (won't call him a chef) practically had a seizure with his left hand and would not stop banging the grill for the entirety of the cooking. The rice (which is my favorite) had no salt, the sauce for the noodles (and beef kushi/teriyaki chicken/steaks) was watered down, most food was somehow undercooked or very overcooked, it took the guy 3 times as long to cook our food compared to the other cooks and somehow the chicken that was on the grill at the beginning, was slow roasted for 1 and a half hours and served last! We let our server know about our experience, and that shw would pass it onto the manager(btw, our server, she was fantastic).
What I consider to be a 5-star restaurant has been tainted by a horrible experience. I will keep my rating at a 4 until they let the guy go or properly train him, and I feel like I'm being generous with that. I hope it isn't a sign of worse things to come and that they keep their current experienced staff.
If you get that cook, RUN AWAY!

The food was not $115 worthy. Just go to Panda Express. I wouldn’t have never chosen to eat here but we had a gift card from Christmas. Come to find out there was supposedly a sticker label on the back that unless that sticker is still on the gift card, it’s completely useless because they write a number on that sticker. It’s not like there’s already a permanently printed number on the front of the card that they should use instead… oh wait there is.
Stop using the office labels that can rub off in a wallet or accidentally washed in the laundry or get ripped off when someone gives a gift.
Just write on the card with a damn sharpie.
Also the manager was no help and obviously did not want to because she could have just honored it in a price adjustment, could she not?
Bad business practice that really needs to change.

I checked their prices on line before we went and had dinner and was shocked to see the prices. Please update the prices on the website so people are not surprised to see the prices. Other than that every thing was fantastic and fun.
This was my kids and wife’s first time at this type of restaurant and it was perfect. The food was delicious, the service was great, the show was fantastic! 10/10 love it

Always a good time for an occasion! I say that because it is more like a show and a dinner. it is pretty much the same show every time which is fine, I just do not feel the price is set for a place that you would want to frequent. I think that it is great they found their niche. It is fun and delicious!
