Zeppe's Italian Ice - West Jordan

This place is delicious, if you can ever manage to catch them when they're open. We quit trying to come here because their hours never matched what it said online or on google. We probably showed up here half a dozen times throughout the year (summer and winter) to see they weren't actually open, only to be disappointed.

Randle is very polite. Willing to help in all areas and very knowledgeable about all the products. We stop by everytime were in West Jordan!!

We drove from Saratoga Springs to the West Jordan location tonight to get a couple gallons of italian ice and custard. Before driving the 25 minutes to the location, we checked the hours online and it said they were open until 10:00 PM. We get there at 8:51 PM and the sign on door says they close at 9:00. Even with that error in hours compared to online site we are still there before closing only to be told they actually closed at 8:00 PM. We have now wasted the better part of an hour. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional.

I would love to tell you how great this place is, but every time I drive here they are closed before their posted hours! Their hours are also really odd compared to other zeppe's. Normally I love zeppe's but this location can't seem to stay open. When we arrived tonight there were 3 other couples ready to give them business, 3 employees were on the inside trying to not see us.

Strawberry colada Gelata is my favorite!!! Staff is nice, but we’re talking to some of their friends on the store. Very attentive to actual customers though. Will be back!

I like the product. But PLEASE! It is summer! Stay open LATER. Like at least 10pm! I have come several times and every time they are closed.

I always loved their custard but it’s very disappointing to see that they only open 3 days out of the week and close so early.

So, I wound up giving Zippys a three star review based on my experience and my kids experience. My experience was a solid one or a two, however my kids really thought it was a four or a five, so go figure! I thought it that it was a single star based on the food being devoid of much flavor, and the value being very low. My kids, felt the exact opposite. They actually really loved the food and asked me to go back. So, for those parents and families out there this may be something to try!

We love Zeppe’s. The gelato is great and the service is always with a smile. I have nothing bad to say about this place. My one request would be to bring back butterscotch! Yum!

Instead of real flavors, or even the Italian Torani syrups, they use snow cone flavors. The custard is just soft serve, though the fat content is a little higher than a DQ.I knew there was going to be a problem when they called it a 'gelata' instead of gelato.I have no idea who is giving this a 5 star rating, but I decided that it wouldn't be fair to give it a 1 star even if that would bring the overall rating back from fantasy land

I wish they were open later… most people get their ice cream after 7pm (especially on mutual nights). Not sure why they close so early… Good Italian ice. Wish they had more flavors.

Love your custard! Please update your operating hours:( have driven here 2 times from out of town when you are listed as being open to find you won’t be open till later in the day. Super bummed!

My family loves this place. The custard mixed with Italian ice is our favorite combination.

always the best ice cream in the area anytime I want some ice cream I go here and it one of my favorite spot in utah, I would recommend the sour watermelon and pineapple and the employees were very nice with us they let us taste test almost all the flovers they had would highly recommend this place for any one looking for a quick ice cream treat.
