Horrible service. Do not go here!!
.They charge you for everything literally they do not put enough of anything. Not enough meat beans or rice. This is the reason I stop coming here. The quality is not there. Dressing is water down . Meat taste horrible. I ended up throwing it out . Maybe the employees need to worry about quality and not so much about how much they putting on your plate and saying that’s extra every 5 seconds. Also The employee was eating on the line didn’t even wash her hands.

Again do not go here.
who ever is running this location needs to be fired with half the staff

I really want to like this Café Rio, but the experience is consistently frustrating.
Every time I come in, the staff seems rushed and doesn’t really listen while taking orders. Today I asked for less meat and got a full portion anyway, and then I was charged extra for rice — which hasn’t always happened in the past. It’s confusing and inconsistent. I also noticed other customers down the line having similar issues, so it doesn’t seem like a one-time thing.
I hope management takes a closer look at how orders are being handled, because it’s turning people off from coming back.

Against my better judgment (and clearly ignoring every red flag from past experiences), I ordered online from this place again. Because hey, maybe I enjoy disappointment with a side of soggy rice?
This time, they really outdid themselves. It’s almost impressive how thoroughly they ignored every single customization checkbox—like it was a challenge. No meat? Extra sauce? Light on the lettuce? Nah, let’s just freestyle it and hope the customer enjoys the mystery meal roulette.
Whoever is assembling these orders must think the checkboxes are just decorative. Maybe they’re part of a modern art piece titled “Chaos in a Bowl.” Honestly, the staff could benefit from a week at Cafe Rio just to learn what food is supposed to look and taste like. And management? If you're out there, blink twice if you've given up. A little pride in your product wouldn’t hurt—unless the goal is to win awards for culinary apathy.

The rice was crunchy by my knowledge from working there before 🤓 it means it's been sitting there or they don't know how to cook it
They also forgot to pack the famous house dressing the keystone to every meal but still charged me
The person charging me for my food was also pretty rude but I'm upset about the food just spend a whole 20 for some rice crunchier than these tortilla chips

For the third time I have said to my self don’t go to valley fairmall cafe rio. never complain about previous incident but this time I need too. Order a tostada but the lady at the salad area was cleaning with a dirty rag and without changing gloves touch the greens with the dirty gloves I told her and she got upset that I told her her glover were dirty. Give me a new salad but her attitude was very bad throwing the food on the plate. She didn’t complete the order properly as I ordered.

The food is wonderful, but you always have to make sure that your order is correct before you leave with it. Too many times I have placed an order, and it was wrong, but I didn't find out until I got back home. Apparently they don't quality check the orders before they go out.

The food is mid. The chicken was so dry. The service is awful! I asked for a bit more rice, and they didn’t even mention that it would be extra until I paid and saw on the receipt that they had charged extra for rice. The portions are small for the prices. From the moment you walk in , no one even greets you. And all the employees had such a horrible attitude. I would not recommend this location.
