Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

This place has locals raving about the food and how good it is. There are so many of these places around you can eat in Cafe Rio in about every shopping center in Utah.
I just moved from Texas and the food here is nothing to write home about the food actually isn’t really that good. I could stop by any gas station in Texas and get authentic Mexican tacos, burritos or any other Mexican food that is ten thousand times better than I’ve had here. I was greatly disappointed for the $15.00 bowl of whatever I got

Ewww... there was so much tajin in the tiny but of crispy's on top of my salad that it ruined the whole thing. Couldn't even finish it. Seriously, they must've dumped the entire bottle of tajin into like 3 cups of chips, lol!
If you skin is white, the staff will ignore you for like 7 minutes while clearly just wandering around the kitchen not doing a single thing for a while, all the while keep looking over at you occasionally. Then go back to doing nothing. Then, finally, come over to ask what they make for you. Then proceed completely botch the order in front of your eyes, because neither one of you could really understand the other one very well.

Excellent atmosphere and service and spectacular cleanliness, everything very well organized, I really liked this place

Like a lot of the reviews here recently say, the service has slowly been declining! The employees have bad attitudes and looks like they hate their job! The food quality is also lacking. Won’t be coming back to this location for a while.

Was on a road trip and decided to stop at this Cafe rio because it had 3.8 stars, which was more than the other ones in the area, but was sad I stopped. The service was terrible and they made the tiniest burritos we've ever had. They were pathetic. She could wait one second to let the liquid drain from the beans, so it was a super wet burrito. Also, I was the only person in line and they took a long time to get to me. Then at the register they had to pass me off to another employee that spoke better English. I had to ask for grilled veggies because they weren't even out. And place was not super clean for now e being in there. Love cafe rio, but not this place.

The staff work there is not friendly. Every time i go there they charge me different price for same thing evry time . Today there is man who charges me he charge me extra 4$ for chip crackers . But i didn’t tell anyone to put extra .I knw that gy he always charge me extra but other staff charge me less for same thing. When they add stuff in the burrito for me they always put little little but when i notice when they put other people they put always right . May be they diong this with me cz of my nationality. M not going anymore in this location. Please check your bills when you pay these gys .

When going through the drive thru we asked for an extra sauce with our meal, we open the meal and there is no sauce and tiny shreds of meat it’s like they ran out and scraped the tiny amount into the salad. Not a great experience at all

This location is super. Food was fresh, line was fast and service was awesome. Adolfo was very nice and help us very quickly

This location did not have ingredients ready to order, most items looked like they had been sitting there for hours. Guacamole was brown and we usually order queso but they overflowed the ladies that was in front of us so when we asked there was barely any left for our order. Then when we were paying we asked don’t we get chips? He said you just ordered queso… we said no we said chips and queso. However their team members do not have any communication because the guy told him we wanted queso and then wasn’t clear with the cashier that it was chips and queso?
A lot of confusion with team members, a lot of them were not friendly and overall quality of food was gross. We will never visit this cafe rio again. I highly recommend not visit this location unless they want to throw their food out after they take a bite. I would drive out of my way for better quality of food that I experience from cafe rio.

So I came in for interview 3 times first time person didn’t even show up had to talk to some other per only took my info down second time came in waited awhile then he came out and talked to me said come back tomorrow and talk to another person about paper work etc well come in the third time and felt kinda awkward and very disrespected the way was treated something needs to be done about this unfair
