Very good food and very reasonably priced, I haven't had catfish in a while and have now found the place to get it. My only suggestion would be to maybe add cod or halibut to the menu so there are a few more options on fish.

While staying at a hotel nearby, I decided to come here for lunch. I had never been to one of these restaurants, so I decided to try it out.I was immediately noticed and seated.I ordered some mozzarella sticks as an appetizer because I intended to order a catfish basket, not realizing how much food comes in the basket! I ordered the sweet potato fries as the side.Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I'll be looking for the other Hook and Reel locations as I travel the country.

I went to H&R for the first time today (for lunch right when they opened) and I was very surprised how great the food was. The calamari wasn’t fried too much or greasy. The shrimp po boy was so good. The bread SO SOFT!! Big portions as well. I was very pleased. The lemonade was great also. Nothing was disappointing. Our waitress, Mary, was top notch. She walked us through the menu and recommended items (get the strawberry kiwi lemonade). Great experience.
