The two plates both had Teri beef. My two mix plate Teri beef tasted like fish and smelled like fish. My dad's plate only had Teri beef. My dad said his Teri beef tasted old like the beef tasted like blood

Island Grinds was a miss for lunch this week. The service was painfully slow; we waited several minutes before someone took our order, and our food was served cold despite the long wait.
The food itself was disappointing, too. I ordered the two-meat platter with teriyaki chicken and beef short ribs. It also included macaroni salad and white rice. To drink, I ordered their special fruit drink with watermelon and mango.
Everything was just OK, with nothing outstanding or commendable about the meal, the restaurant, or the service. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

First time here. I got the kalbi katsu and pupu chicken. Taste spot on. Mac salad was great with taste of black pepper. Food was overall great. Friendly staff.
