An absolutely fantastic dinner! I got the Broccoli and Chicken Alfredo and it was perfect! The food didn't take long at all and it was so good! Our server, Tami, was an absolute gem!

The Curious Hippie
While I know prices have skyrocketed due to inflation, I would think that the food would be top notch. This was not the case here at Jim's in West Valley City, Utah today Friday, March 22, 2024. I, ordered Biscuits and Gravey the Gravey was good. The biscuits were not soft, rather hard. I am comparing this dish to another Restaurant East of this location, which is Ogie's.Also I, asked to substitute eggs for fruit, which cost me extra. In other Restaurants such as Denny's I do not get charged extra for this request. Additionally, the fruit had too much liquid in the saucer. When my wife and I sat down to eat our waitress took 20 minutes or so to even ask as what we wanted to drink... We both ordered coffee.. and I had to ask for more coffee ☕ cause our waitress never came back after taking our order.. and then I noticed that our waitress only talked to the ones that only spoke Spanish... Elizabeth was our waitress name

Nice restaurant and service just the food seems to be a little bland and cheap tasting I had the CFS dinner and it was not as good as I remember it's been a long time since I have eaten there but the meal was bland the gravy tasted cheap and the veggies lacking flavor and potatoes were over peppered with the gravy also on top and a bit chunky for my liking the salad was as expected but was a hug salad for what I needed wife and I shared one and boxed the other and dressing ended up watered down from the wet lettuce the slit pea soup was gross ? tasted like a canned or bagged soup also sampled the veg & beef soup was ok but also weak on the flavor. My mom and sister had steaks and they were cooked perfectly but also we're not very flavorful just bland charbroiled meat so all in all just don't expect a great tasting meal more of a fill your belly kinda place I fill there was so much food they could scale back just a bit for more quality over quantity. I probably should have just went for bacon and eggs that probably would have been more to my liking since that's a hard one to mess up and most of the time it's daily bacon at restaurants so can't go wrong there usually.
Waitresses too slow we sat for 20 min before we got coffee n water. then 25 min to get our order taken..it wasn't busy at all nor were they short handed..
