Mi Casa Tortilleria

Happened to pass by en route to a meeting and saw the outside banner. Stopped by afterward just for curiosity, and I'm so glad I did! It's a small business and restaurant. I always have tamales at Christmas time, so I decided to order some to go to share with my family back home. I also bought a small bag of tortillas. The employee was very friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Went home and tried the two tamales, one taco, with rice and beans. OMG, the food was fantastic!! I can't remember the last time I had real, fresh, tasty tamales. It's been years!! Although they are 25 minutes away, I will be going here for mexican food every time!

I was walking through Salt Lake City, and I searched on Google and this little place came up, 100% recommended, good prices, good food, I will return on my next visit.

Small , hidden place with amazing authentic Mexican food. They have delicious pozole with fresh, hand made tortillas. They also sell masa.

Came here to pickup some wood from FB Marketplace and had to wait until the right person got here. The staff gave me and my wife a tamale on the house while we waited and it was incredible. Great hospitality and great food.

I ordered asada cake and it is very delicious, the tamales are very good, we ate corn and pork with red chili and champurrado.

This is where local Latinos go for authentic, high quality food!! I was worried that maybe they would only speak spanish (and I'd have to bust out my all language hand gestures, but no, perfect english and spanish. Everything is made from scratch and it's really good! I had tamales and carne asada tacos; both were the best I've had. They put a squeeze bottle of homemade salsa verde on the table which tasted fresh and perfectly balanced. Also placed
on my table was a sqeeze bottle of red salsa which was very hot and delicious (I love really hot sauces so) it was great - in a set you on fire way!!

Tamales are moist but all very very small amount of filling in all of the ones we got in both the verde and Rojo.

I woke up craving Pozole, and where it was the perfect place, I would have liked them to have chicken, but it was delicious, from now on where I will be on Sundays. One more thing, I would like the girls to come to the tables a little more, but the food is delicious and the service is not so bad, and the tortillas are not to mention delicious. Thank you
