This was our third time dining at Itto/Myung Ga, and we LOVED it!Excellent choice if you have a group of people that crave a variety. Whether you are in the mood for some tasty sushi, cozy ramen and stews or savory Korean BBQ - the place has it all!Our personal favorite dishes are the Kimchi Soon Du Bu (Tofu Kimchi Soup) and Dduk Bokki (Spicy Rice Cakes). Bonus - all the little tasty Korean side dishes that come with some entrees.Everything tastes fresh and flavorful!Sushi are top notch quality too!The staff are great there! Always friendly and accommodating. Special shout-out to Sophia for taking good care of us last time. There's plenty of space, the service is fast and the food is mouth-watering!

Got a bento and the food was delicious. Bulgogi was cold when I got it, but other than that good

A great place to eat definitely needs more recognition for the quality of food , and service. It is a bit pricey but it's worth

The quality has gone downhill over the years. I got food poisoning after eating their bibimbap the other day and couldn’t stop vomiting all night. They used to be good but now they are ran by other owners. No longer authentic korean:/

Went here for some birthday sushi and sadly left before I could even order it. First off, we got seated at the crappiest table (see photo! ) not only was it ripped apart but there was red sauce where I was supposed to sit. I squeezed in on the other side next to my wife. Eventually, they took part of our order (appetizers) but forgot to come back again. Oops. It was not busy at all. The servers were chatting and leaning. The appetizers were not good. We won't be going back. On the bright side, a manager came to see if we still wanted to order sushi after we sat with empty plates for a while and realizing we were forgotten about gave us half off on our apps. Hopefully they find some people who care about their jobs.

Such great food here! I used to visit more frequently when I worked nearby, but it's definitely worth a long drive. The menu has changed a little bit since Itto was added to the title. It's too bad the bilgogi sushi is no longer on the menu, but all my other favorites, including the traditional sides, are still available!

I order takeout. The sushi is great but you order 1 sushi rolls you get 2 packets of soy and a small container with a teeny bit of wasabi and some ginger order 5 rolls you get 2 packets of soy and the same teeny container of wasabi that is barely adequate for one sushi role. One should get wasabi proportional to how much you order.

Food is to die for but they’re definitely short staffed and management needs changes.I’ve been here a couple times both before Itto Sushi joined and after, and I do have to say that it improved drastically after changing, but some other things went down with it. This review will be for the actual restaurant since there’s no point about talking about the previous one.Service is usually fantastic but as far as my experience goes, they only have a lady serving during the mornings doing everything and on the weekends there seems to be only 3 people taking care of the whole restaurant, mind you this is a big restaurant so 3 people for like 50 tables is close to nothing, and don’t get me started about the single waitress in the morning; they’re always running around but they try their best and have good customer service skills. And now, the only real complain I have is the management, I’m not sure if it’s the owner or the manager but there’s a man taking care of the restaurant that’s always raising his voice at the staff. I like to sit on the tables close to the sushi bar and I often hear him complaining about the staff and even saying bad/gross things about the clients, music is usually low so it’s easy for anyone to pick up what he’s saying, it makes me feel uneasy and turns the vibe heavy.Last time I was there it was particularly bad, he was real mad and constantly raising his voice at the servers, yelling at the other staff, he would check on the tables or deliver sushi with a heavy frown on his face, and then he’d leave the sushi bar for minutes on end when all the other staff were getting slammed. With all due respect, the person in charge needs some real attitude change and communication training.Other than that, the food is fantastic, definitely one of the best I’ve tried in SLC. But you don’t only go to a restaurant to eat, you also go to relax and have some fun, and taking into consideration what I said, it’s hard to be there because the overall vibe feels chaotic. Not sure if I’ll be back anytime soon but I seriously hope they change, for both their clients and staff sake.

Two of the best restaurants in Utah merged and we enjoy it immensely. It's hard to go wrong with so many good choices. The sushi is fresh and the bulgogi is sizzling hot. Enjoy!
