Super rich and flavorful food!

First time I came here, I got malai kofta with naan. Of all the koftas I had, this one was a stand out! The curry was super rich, creamy, and packed full with flavor! The kofta itself was fall-apart tender, fresh, and filling. Sometimes, Indian/Nepali restaurants will skimp you on the malai kofta portion, but not Nepali Chulo!

The naan itself was... naan. It was fresh and cooked perfectly, great for finishing off the remaining kofta curry inside the bowl.

Nepali Chulo has 4.8 stars for a reason. There's friendly service, and the food is outstanding.

I will be back for more, and have placed Nepali Chulo at the top of my list for Indian/Nepali food.

The Jhal momos are absolutely amazing! If you enjoy Chinese dumplings, these flavorful Nepali Jhal monos might blow you away! Perfection!

Absolutely delicious. We shared 3 dishes because we simply could not decide what we liked best. Everything was so tasty. Our first time trying this resteraunt and while we dont live nearby I will make a point to visit OFTEN. On top of the Devine food, the staff were also very kind and friendly. They payed the right amount of attention to our table. Thanks for treating us to dessert ❤️ my new favorite spot!!

The food was good, so it’s a shame I have to leave this review. Almost a week after visiting this establishment I checked my credit card statement to find I’d been DOUBLE-CHARGED the ENTIRE order amount. So I called the restaurant to ask for my refund. Imagine my surprise when the guy on the other end nonchalantly lets me know he’ll get to it either today or tomorrow!!!!! NO apology, NO sense of urgency, NOTHING. He just let me know they have some new system and some others have had the same issue too!!! After letting him know multiple times I needed this issue attended to while I was on the phone and being told he’d call me eventually, I said I would recoup the fraudulent charge via my bank and that is exactly what I did. There are many other wonderful Indian and Nepali restaurants in SLC but if you’re determined to go here, check your credit card bill!!!

I am here for a conference and ordered chicken jhol momo and gulab jamun online. It came in a good condition and the taste oh my god. I felt like I am eating in Nepal. Loved it!!! Highly recommended!!

This is our favorite place to eat! The staff are lovely and always remember us. It's a nice quiet atmosphere where you can talk and eat in comfort. The food is incredible and you will not walk away hungry with the generous servings.
