Booking a tour & tasting was one of the most interesting and educational experiences I've had in some time! Alan was a wealth of information on the physics, chemistry, biology, and history of what makes their product. He really could teach a Lifelong Learning class if it would take time from making their tasty product.Four of us took the tour. A perfect size group. I thought it would be interesting, but wouldn't consider myself a huge bitters or liqueurs connoisseur. After learning a little about the process, and seeing the raw ingredients that create the flavors, the tasting was SO much more meaningful and I really enjoyed all of what Waterpocket creates.Their store has product you can't get from the liquor store.Appointments advised. Make one. It's worth it!

Took the 1hr tour and it was the best Distillery tour I've ever done (and I've been to a lot of the big brand name tours). Learned a lot about the history of different alcohol making and learned a lot about the different spices that go into everything. You'll find things here that you can't find anywhere else. Would highly suggest anyone who likes a good cocktail to come by for a tour!

Magnificent flavors! I got this at first just because the bottle was beautiful and I loved the cork top but it is so good it’s now my absolute favorite whiskey. I found out after that it’s surprisingly made right here in Utah and to me that’s absolutely awesome. Thank you robbers roost for such a quality product. I am now a lifetime fan.

This place is incredible. I was blown away! So cool this is happening in SLC, it’s the sort of thing I’d expect to see in SF or Seattle. The best distillery experience I’ve ever had.Expect to taste really unique botanically infused liquors/amaros/tonics. I wish the best for this project and business!

What a great place. We walked in and was greeted by the owner who is awesome. We are not real big spirit people but enjoyed the heck out of our visit. We paid for a couple of tastings. They make some specialized spirits that are as unique as anything out there. The owner could talk extensively about his product and could tell he was super proud of what he turns out. We ended up buying a couple of bottles because the quality was just that good even though we were not in need of anything at the time. They are a must see if you like visiting distillery. We will be back to take a tour and will look for their offerings in Salt Lake's cocktail bars

Decided to randomly stop by because I was near by. The only experience I've had with this distillery is the light whiskey. Really glad I did!Allen was absolutely fantastic to chat with about all the different spirit options. I've never met someone so passionate about everything they sold, and he had every right to be. The gin is so fragrant, refreshing and 'soft'. The new anejo rum is a beautiful mixture where you are first hit with the anejor flavor profile and the rum follows behind.I strongly recommend signing up for a tour online and just experiencing what Waterpocket has to offer.

Their Kummel is exceptional (Try it in a Ramos Gin Fizz), their amaro playful (enjoyed adding it to my spiked hot cocoa).Every bottle is beautiful to look at, provides a wonderful story and the spirit is handcrafted with love and passion. They provide unique spirits that have been fun to experiment with.
