Lucked upon this place some years ago while traveling down I-81. We make it a destination on our trips every time--probably 10 times so far! Amazing authentic Greek food at affordable prices. Take the five minutes to go here--you won't regret it.

The spinach pie is the best I have ever eaten as well as the pasticio. Judo on the hummus too. I'll definitely go back.

It’s hard to find an opened restaurant in a small town. This restaurant is in abingdon downtown open on Sunday till late hour. The salad and lamb platter was so good and fresh. We will go back next time!

Loved Greeko's! Everything was fresh, big and delicious! I got the mixed gyro sandwich with salad and thoroughly enjoyed it!

This restaurant served us a fresh and tasty meal. We were very pleased and would return. Salads were generous and fresh, topped with steaming gyro meat. Soups were delightfully rich.

Ate lunch here. Staff very attentive and food was good. Food reasonably priced. Appreciate the variety of food choices.

We were looking for a lunch place in Abingdon before a matinee at the Barter. We had spotted Greekos on our tour of downtown the day before and checked the menu. We both knew that if Falafel was on the menu - we were going - because we both love Falafel. We checked in at 11:30 and Heather said to sit anywhere - and showed up with menus as soon as we were seated. It's a typical Greek menu as it has everything you could possibly want Greek. Our only decsion was how we wanted our Falafel. We both chose a Falafel Pita. Hether brought our drinks as she hustled amongst the building crowd. It's obviously a very popular place - especially with the locals. Heaven in a Pita came in a few minutes. A big fresh fluffy pita stuffed with Falafels, lettuce, tomato and loaded with zesty tzatziki sauce. Ah - the Falafel!!! Crispy on the outside - not hardened. With a flavorful creamy greenish filling. The best ever. We could have eaten a bowl of the morsels - except we would have missed out on the Pita and tzatziki sauce. The price - VERY reasonable. Kids of all ages would find something here. It's like your local friendly Greek diner. It's on our list of MUST go back to places in Abingdon.

Just an unassuming little diner style place but comfy and delish. The Greek nachos were droolworthy. The falafel was I swear the best I've ever tasted, and I've had a lot of falafel from a lot of places. It's not a fancy place, but it's fantastically good Greek eats. Looking forward to heading back and trying some other staples.

They did it again, make a delicious meal that was light but heavy enough to fill you up, with the perfect balance of spice and sweet tangy flavors. I loved the fact that there was no wait and the staff did not hover around the dining room and only checked on me when my mouth was not full. I would recommend getting the lamb and chicken souvlaki it is a delicious meal.

Huge portions of fantastic food. Atmosphere is pretty good, and the prices are fair too. Menu item variety was great, and the service was nice. No complaints whatsoever; the only problem was ordering too much food, so there was no room left to try their deserts.Parking: Tiny parking lot, but it's right next to the building. We went early, so I'm not sure how full it gets, but there's parallel street parking nearby as well, since it's technically in the downtown area.

Stopped in for casual dinner while visiting Emory & Henry College. Food and service were good. Will definitely return when we're in the area.

I never had actually eaten "Greek" food. A friend wanted to eat dinner at Greekos Grill and Cafe, a newer cozy Cafe on Main St in historic Abingdon. I wasn't sure I would find something I would like. "Try the Giant Mixed Platter" says my friend. WOW! How right he was! It gave me a sampling of all of their best sellers. I was especially impressed with the seasoned lamb gyro. Greek lamb gyro bares no resemblance to the lamb roast my mother in law served. It was FANTASTIC! I also really enjoyed the humus and homemade salad dressing over a delicious Greek salad. All meals are prepared behind a glass partition visible to all. I like that as it keys me see whether the kitchen is clean or not. Greekos kitchen is spotless! The friendly kitchen staff will gladly explain any dish to you and, I'm told, will also sneak you a sample of some items. Nice. After a wonderful delicious dinner my friend said that we HAD to try a couple desserts. Our server informed us that most of their desserts are made in house by their own talented baker, "Lexi." We ordered 3 desserts (carrot cake, a fruity cheesecake, and a wonderful moist chocolate cake. Greekos is worth driving for. I live about 40 minutes away and have returned twice since my first visit. Greekos is located in a small former old time pharmacy. Their dining room is small and cozy. Service is fast and friendly. Even if you've never tried Greek food before, you need to give greekos a try. (My wife likes their plain grilled coven breast.) BTW, I learned that the owner of Greekos also owns a cozy coffee bar across the parking lot from their main Cafe, Bottom line is, Greekos is a must visit!
