Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace offers a unique experience with its amazing building, clean restrooms, and friendly staff. The marketplace features a nice selection of local crafts, including woodworking, pottery, quilts, paintings, metal, and glasswork, as well as area jams, pickles, candies, and Mill products. It provides a beautiful display of a variety of artists and is very dog friendly, which is a huge plus. Prices vary from very low to investment, making it a great introduction to the local arts scene. Plan 20-35 minutes to explore the video and marketplace, and enjoy a picnic. The building has a calming serenity, and the acoustics are amazing, making live music and food events an added bonus.
