Mamma Mia Reviews
My family and I absolutely love dining at Mamma Mia. Our favorite item to order is the freshly made authentic pizza. The staff are friendly and the service is exceptional. It’s very obvious that the owner takes much pride in his establishment. He is welcoming and always takes the time to visit tables to ensure you are happy with your dining experience. I have two small toddlers, and this is one of the very few restaurants I always feel comfortable taking my children to. The...read full review
My granddaughters and I absolutely love Mama Mia! The food is amazing and the staff and owner are wonderful people. We had a wonderful dinner and were surprised with a birthday dessert.
We come every time they are here for a visit.
We just had one of the best dinners in a long time at Mamma Mia’s! We had the eggplant Parmesan and a Mamma Mia’s pizza. We intended to share but both defended our meals because they were so delicious. Extraordinary quality & great service. The owner came out and spoke with us, explaining the process of how it was made. The whole experience was a WOW!!!

Mamma Mia is a beloved restaurant in Abingdon, known for its amazing food and wonderful, friendly staff. The menu features delicious pizza, manicotti, alfredo, and Stromboli, with generous portions that ensure meals last. The "regular size" Stromboli can provide three meals' worth. Customers especially enjoy the garlic knots, a popular favorite. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, tucked off Main Street, making it a charming spot for diners. The owner is accommodating and kind, known for being friendly and even offering rides back to hotels. Many vegetarian options are available, including salads, vegetarian pastas, pizza, and calzones, along with gluten-free choices. Diners have praised the homemade alfredo sauce as perfectly buttery and creamy, and the garlic knots and chicken Alfredo pizza are highly recommended. While some customers noted that the portion sizes could be improved for the price, many still consider Mamma Mia the best restaurant in town, perfect for those seeking laid-back, affordable gourmet dining.
