Food is always good and portions do not disappoint. We've been going to Pita's for several years and have never had a bad meal from there. Pricing is reasonable and the owners are good people. This is a locally owned and operated restaurant and they will always have my recommendation over the big pizza chains.
Favorite place in town for their style of pizza. Great change of pace from all the fastfood pizza.
The best pizza in town! We love the other foods too! Very friendly!
Friendly staff. A lot of food for the buck. Had the chicken parm & it definitely could have fed 2 people. Delicious as well.. Highly recommend.
Had lasagna. Very good.
Honestly the best food I have had during our visit down here!!!! Super friendly staff the guy running the register is SOOOO SWEET ❤️❤️
After doing Virginia Creeper's Trail we decided to have lunch at Pita's. Only we two were there in the restaurant so decided to dine-in. For lunch we ordered Falafel & Hummus with Fetta and Vegetarian Calzone. We were given both the dishes in togo boxes keeping in mind the guidelines of COVID-19. Both the dishes were okay not much delicious. I have had better than this.
The pasta was really good and the wait time wasnt too long.
Our office had the best lunch from Pitas today! Highly recommend you give it a try. All 5 were beyond satisfied.
Great pizza tonight. Exactly as we ordered.

This place is soooooo good.. always fresh and delicious. I've lived and traveled and am so glad this place is in my backyard cause it's super authentic.
I would not reccomend. A couple of nights ago,, I ordered a Stromboli & the bottom 1/2 of dough was very raw. I finally, had a chance to call, today. They told me, there was nothing they could do about it. If, I had called that night, (they were closed), or the next morning , when I was busy, they could have done something. I am not one to call & complain....?
Tried the gyro and spinach pie(which has stuffed grave leaves).I've had two other gyros and I couldn't eat them. The one I ate a pitas yesterday was excellent. Crispy lamb and a feta cheese sauce.Very authentic Mediterranean food ?
Ordered some takeout last night. 2 small pizzas, garlic knots, and fried mushrooms. These were the worst pizzas I've ever had in my life. The dough was not cooked all the way and the pizza itself was so bland. The fried mushrooms were soggy. The garlic knots were okay, so they were the best item we ordered. The pizzas looked nothing like the pictures.
My wife needed a place with Vegan items on the menu while we were visiting Abingdon to ride the Virginia Creeper bike trail. She discovered that Pita’s had a vegetable pasta and decided to try it. I tried the baked Ziti. The place is a small restaurant/cafe off of US 58 and happened to be just across the street from our hotel, so it was also convenient. They serve Mediterranean cuisine, Italian cuisine and Pizza, all freshly made. Prices seemed high until I saw the serving sizes. For $9.00 I got a baked ziti for two!! Same with my wife’s vegetarian pasta. And the food was delicious! The staff was friendly and courteous and the place, though small, was clean and comfortable. Great place to eat if you’re in Abingdon!
