Absolutely the worse Steak ( meal ) I do believe I've ever had in my life, the Ribeye was cold, dry, tuff and full of fat, the whipped potatoes and Asparagus was also cold , and even if they had been warm, the serving size i got was pitiful for the price of the meal, like 2 tablespoons full, and 4 little spears of Asparagus, about the diameter of pincel lead. And the wait to even get it was awful as well, 6pm reservation, finally got food at 720pm, even when ordering was a disgrace, I told the waiter I didn't want the heavy cream on the steak as the menu said , he said it had to come on it, come on, I want it the way I want it , don't question me , or tell me how I want something. So don't expect to go to this place , just because it's a so called high class fancy, high , way overpriced place and think you are going to get good food and service. I would not recommend this place to anyone, I mean you can get a better piece of meat by going to Pals and get a Big Pal. Also the place is so inconvenient.

Walked out before ever getting served. Seated 20 minutes after our reservation. Left after 25 minutes because waitress never came. People seated after us kept getting service.
People at the door thanked us for coming by, even though we were in front of them the whole time, unserved.
We walked down to the Tavern and now were happy on our anniversary. =)

We heard some good things about Rain, so we decided to try it. It was quaint, but I think it was a bit overhyped. The food was decent. The butternut squash was great. The atmosphere was a bit in the bland side. The service was mediocre, at best. It was a decent place to try once.

I am still thinking about this place a week later and wishing that every restaurant could be this good. Our waiter Connor was very good. He made sure we were well taken care of and had a great personality. The food was excellent and very fairly priced. The table ordered several appetizers and they were very good. I had the one of the best chicken parms I have ever had and this isn't an Italian restaurant. Several of us had the steaks and they were done perfectly. We also had the salmon and a linguine dish which was the veggie option. Finally, we had desserts - key lime pie, apple pie, and cheesecake. I only great things to say about Rain. We had a great bike ride and this experience really made it a wonderful day!
