I used to work here. The new building is nicer looking but the food has gone downhill. We ate here, two adults and two kids. Buffet, on a Monday night. The bill was $70 + tip. The food was definitely not worth $70…The price for an adult for the buffet is $15.99 (kind of absurd with their food options), for kids it’s $8.99.We went two adults, and two kids. That was $12 in drinks for a table of four. That was insane considering nobody even got any refills. The waitress did stop by a few times offering to remove empty plates, I’ll give her that. There was also a discussion heard (by us) from a disgruntled employee talking about finding drugs in the employee bathroom and not wanting to deal with it which I don’t blame her for.Overall the food was bad. Granted we showed up only like 3 hours before close but still. It seemed like everything on the buffet had been out there for hours. I could understand if it was the very end of the day, but there were plenty of people actually eating from the buffet at the time. The kids were picky, but they still ate some. As for us adults, $16/plate was insane after we actually had a chance to try the items from the buffet. I’m not one to eat a buffet normally, but this dinner cost more than Golden Corral and was about 1/2 the value. It seems like they don’t get much business anymore which is fair. Allegedly they’re switching to a different restaurant soon,(fiddlers keep that in mind) but that shouldn’t mean to milk your customers for everything they have for food that would be better purchased as a TV dinner from Walmart. The only reason I give them any stars is because the waitress, despite obviously knowing she’s aboard a sinking ship still did her best and wasn’t bad at her job at all.

Beautiful Shoney's, great staff, and overall really good food. I'm excited to see what they do with the place when they change brands. Buffet/bar was ultra clean and everything tasted great and fresh. Restaurant was also spotless, with nice decor, local art on the walls, and clean restrooms. Only complaint was my baked spaghetti - just didn't taste very good. Maybe change the sauce recipe? All the staff were really friendly and our server was attentive and helpful.

This place has totally gone downhill. I ordered the grilled whitefish. It used to be really good. It has flaky fish on a bed of rice with some sort of butter sauce and paprika on top. I got three pieces of fish that were tough and inedible with no butter or spices. The worst meal I have ever had in my life. We learned they are going out of business and are changing the name to Fiddlers. I hope the food and service improve because I wasn't offered anymore coffee with my meal so I left both hungry and thirsty. Never again!

Went on Thanksgiving. They charge the full buffet price even when they run out of ham and other items and dont offer any replacement itens. Food was dry and tasteless. Cant blame it on the servers. They were friendly and helpful. This is just a poorly managed restaurant.

Went on Thanksgiving day. They were very busy but there was plenty of good food on the buffet. They seemed to have plenty of help and everyone there was so nice.

We ate the breakfast buffet. The food was tasty, but they didn't offer applebutter. Now Ms. Rhonda got to have her applebutter with her breakfast biscuits.

We are there as a family of 20 on thanksgiving. They for sure had a lot of people to serve, but they managed it quite well. The food on the other hand was not that great. My husband's fried chicken had a hair cooked into the batter and our rolls had uncooked pieces in it. The turkey didn't taste like turkey at all. They have a decent salad bar, and the ice cream machine seemed to be the biggest hit of all. All together it wasn't horrible, I just think they were stressed and under staffed.
