I had a girls night with some friends and Nikita was our server. She was sweet and attentive and I don't think I've ever had a better experience. Highly recommend.

Nikita was an awesome bartender! So sweet, knowledgeable, and she makes amazing drinks!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sisters America Grill inside the Martha Washington Inn, and the experience was nothing short of phenomenal from start to finish. Skyla, our host, welcomed us with warmth and grace, immediately making us feel at home. The true standout of the evening, however, was Nikita, the bartender. Not only were her cocktails perfectly mixed and beautifully presented, but her energy behind the bar was infectious. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about her craft. Whether recommending a drink or chatting between rounds, she created a welcoming, relaxed vibe that made the entire evening even more enjoyable. Nikita isn’t just a bartender—she’s a true artist and a key part of what makes this place special. Inora, the cook, also deserves major praise. The food was absolutely delicious—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. Every dish felt like it was made with care and intention. The service and food were above and beyond wonderful. It’s rare to find a restaurant where people like Skyla, Nikita and Inora brings so much heart and professionalism to their roles. Whether you’re staying at the Inn or just stopping in for dinner, Sisters America Grill is not to be missed. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Beautiful place within the hotel. Onsite parking is valet. A bit of a walk to the restaurant but easy. Service, staff and food were all outstanding.

We made a reservation one month in advance to celebrate my sister's birthday at Sisters. Six sisters celebrating at Sisters. When we arrived we were told there would be a very long wait in spite of our reservation. The staff sat us in a nice waiting area and apologized and bought us a round of drinks while we waited. We wait for MORE than an hour. By the time we were seated, there were very few customers left in the restaurant and we could tell that the wait staff had been put through the ringer. We continued to practice patience as it took more than 10 mins for someone to even acknowledge us. Once they finally did, the drinks came slowly but the food was served in a timely matter and the wait staff continued to be very apologetic. The food was average but t he restaurant is quite beautiful and would have been awesome for celebrating a special occasion had things been run more efficiently. Overall - a disappointing experience considering how far in advance we planned and how much we has been looking forward to it.

I came to town to visit my mother, I wanted to take her out to a nice restaurant and heard this was best in town. Very disappointed in the whole experience. First of all, the valet was on the porch talking for 10 minutes and I had to call the front desk to get them to park my car. I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. Our server was delightful, but very busy with a big party. She asked someone to help her and he put all the plates on my appetizer that I was going to take home then pulled the cheese out from under the plates and ask if I wanted it. plenty of other good choices in town.

Such a historic location! We were in Abingdon for a night at the Barter across the street and wanted to eat somewhere special and within walking distance with my nieces before the show. Sisters was the perfect choice. The food was great and the restaurant was beautiful. Will be back again for sure 👍🏻👍🏻.

Where to start? Reservations were at 6. It was a good 20 min before a waitress came to our table and 45 min before we had our cocktails (which he to then be returned because they were so bad… vodka martini up with a lemon twist, not hard). A manager took our order then, which subsequently took over AN HOUR to come out (so we are now closing in on two hours at this restaurant). Meanwhile others around us who sat down after had their food delivered 20 min before ours. The bread was awful. Tasteless. Another two drinks made horribly - and had to be remade. Our food finally came and the sweet corn risotto was good but the sauce for the chicken Marsala was awful and the chicken itself was a bit overcooked. My husband’s pork chop was undercooked in places. Our waitress didn’t acknowledge us at all during this whole time… until she brought the check, which was also wrong. We were charged for full Caesar salads ($12 each) vs just an up charge (salads come with the meal). We were offered a free dessert for our inconveniences. We declined. Clearly they were short staffed. The manager and hostess were also taking orders and serving food. Our waitress seemed very inexperienced. This restaurant came highly recommended and has many great reviews so perhaps this was an off night?? It was Sunday and not a lot in Abington is open or we would have just left to somewhere else. If I could give this negative stars, I would. Save yourself frustration and go to Rain instead. That was hands down better all around: vibe, service and quality of food.

Service was very slow and it wasn't crowded. It took an half hour to get water on the table, another half hour to order food and wine and around 45 minutes before we were served appetizers and our entrees of fish and chips that arrived cold. We were never updated on the status of our order nor asked if there was anything we needed while we waited. We felt ignored. We were really looking forward to having dinner here but came away vey disappointed.

Excellent food and service. We both had the fish and chops but had previously had the duck on a previous visit. Highly recommend

Service was good but not excellent. The one server handled herself with 11 tables and we all left very happy with our first experience. The salmon was cooked perfect and I am a bit particular. Nice job overall.

The food and atmosphere were great but service is lacking. We waited 50 minutes to get our bottle of wine. We waited 40 minutes before they asked us for our order. A different waitress had to bring us our bread 40 minutes into the meal. Supposedly a manager had taken the keys to all the wine and liquor cabinet home and could not return them so they were going into the seller to try to find the wine we wanted and we had to settle online that we didn't. They did copy it in the end. Our waitress seemed very inexperienced and so a lady who appeared to be the manager kept helping with the tables.

The staff lost control of the restaurant. What started as a nice evening ended in chaos over dessert and the bill. Food was very slow. The bar was unavailable because a key was missing. Very slow service. The food ok. Too bad.

We made the reservation for 6:00pm assuming that would be enough time to make a 7:30 pm show across the street. We left at 7:40 and were surprised how long it took to get served since there were very few other diners. Food was good.

What a terrific experience my friends and I had at Sisters! All 6 of us enjoyed our food. Our service from Nikita was some of the best and most attentive I've experienced.
