Food is overpriced as is on the menu. You get your receipt and everything you order is at best 5 dollars more than menu price one or 2 dinners were atleast 10 dollars off menu price. We were 3 adults 1 toddler, gave My son a kids sized drink but charged for an adult drink. Everything on the receipt was not the price on the menu. Even then though we added it up and even with the misleading prices on the receipt it added up to around 65 so tell me how the total was 94 ? waitress was awesome but when you're adding up food to make sure you can cover the bill and still tip and 30 dollars gets added on to your already incorrect priced receipt. Food was okay at best definitely not even close to one of the best Japanese restraunts ive been to and every single one of those were extremely cheaper than this place with mediocre food at best. Won't be back.

I live in Richlands Va and recently visited Abingdon Va and my friend and I ate at Tokyo Japanese Steak House. I had steak and lobster at a very reasonable price. The staff is so kind and the meal, which had huge portions, was delicious. I finished the meal with Sake. This is a resturant I will visit again. It’s a great place to go if visiting Abingdon.

We generally order chicken or steak with veggies and rice to go. Takeout can be tricky for any restaurant, but Tokyo Japanese Steak House has apparently mastered this skill set. Overall, (and Imo) TJSH is an asset to our community, and I simply can't recommend them enough.

Honestly, it was extremely unorganized and chaotic. There wasn't even very many people in there but you would have to ask for things 100x before finally getting them. The staff was nice when you did speak to them but severally overwhelmed from what I presume must have been to go orders. Food was mediocre.

Things have gone downhill since the first time we went there 2 years ago. The portions are ridiculously small for the price and on top of it all they added a tip fee to our bill. We were only a group of 4 people. I even shared a meal with my daughter cause I can't eat a whole lot since gastric bypass and the total was over $70. I could understand adding a tip fee if it was a group of 6 or more but only 4? Will not be going back.

God this place is so freaking good! The lady that is always up front and mostly answers the phone is so friendly and polite! And they are the only ones that have the BEST shrimp sauce nobody makes it better than they do... Awesome!!!
