My 6 sisters and I stopped in for brunch this weekend before heading back home to Ohio. Wonderful food, wonder service & an overall wonderful experience. We are thankful to have found this little place conveniently located within walking distance of The Martha Washington Inn.

I ordered a gift card online and have tried numerous times to get it delivered. They said they don’t sell giftcards on their website anymore. I am very disappointed and upset that nobody seems to care about honoring the $40 I paid for a card. At this point I’d just like my money returned. I bought the card for my niece at Emory and Henry. I would not advise doing online business with this establishment maybe In person is better. It’s been 3 weeks and I have gotten no help I have sent a picture of the credit card statement given the last 4 digits of my card number and been very nice about the situation. I wrote this review to get someone’s attention. But I do not appreciate being told I am lying or trying to scam $40 from someone. It’s $40 I don’t need it. It’s the principle of the matter. I got your attention obviously because you’re threatening legal action for a restaurant review. Wow if your website doesn’t work fix it. Don’t blame me. I have posted only one other negative review and it was just as true as this one. Businesses need to take responsibility for their mistakes just like the rest of us. I may have to visit your eatery the next time I’m in Abingdon to see if you’re this rude in person. Keep your $40

Truly enjoyed the huevos rancheros. They are one of the best items on the brunch menu. We like local restaurants and this is one of the best in Abingdon.
Took my wife and our 11yr old twin boys to White Birch today for lunch. We were running late for a Barter play and Sydney was super helpful in helping us get some food to go. We made the play on time and the food was excellent. Thanks Sydney, and thanks to the unseen geniuses working in the kitchen to craft all the delicious food. We will return!

Locally recommended and we stopped in for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy was very good and we got a side of sausage and added another side because the sausage was so country fresh and yummy. The coffee with cinnamon coconut oil, butter and agave was delish and not sweet (perfect). Then we tried one of their juices and it was so yummy. We got a second one to go. The second one was purple and it is scrumptious. Def will return.

We (my wife and I) had driven to Abingdon to ride part of the Virginia Creeper Trail. We came across the White Birch while walking through White Birch and decided to stop for lunch. This turned into a great experience. The food was excellent (and very fresh) and service great.
