Great wine in a quirky tasting room. This place was a fun surprise and one of my favorites throughout our time tasting in Virginia.
Vermouth was great, staff so friendly
Service was good. No sweet wine selection.
Nice stop. Encountered a wine, Sauvignon Gris, that we had never seen before.
Stopped by this morning with a group of 3 cars traveling from Staunton. Arrived at 11:00 ( supposed to open at 11:00) waited 20 minutes and no one showed to open winery. Very disappointed as one of our guests has never been. It’s difficult to give a good review since it didn’t open as advertised.
The wine was delicious and Cole was so helpful. The decor was amazing as well. We felt so at ease and at home.
We had an amazing experience when we visited Flying Fox. Tralyn was so informative and pleasant. We spent about 2 hours with her and left with 6 bottles of wine. We can't wait to return. We Left there and moved on to Veritas Vineyard for lunch. (Sister winery)!!😋☺️😁
One of our favorites, great people with excellent wine in a nice environment. You won't be disappointed!
We had a great time! Good wine. Jack was amazing!!!!!!
Had a wonderful experience here. The owner was the sweetest lady. She allowed us to taste without pressure of buying, mixed some things and brought us suggestions that we weren't aware of. We were sure to purchase a bottle and then headed to see her husband at the other winery up the road! Beautiful setting, comfortable seats and great wine! Perfect wind down for a quick birthday getaway with the hubby!

Love love love Flying Fox! The wine is my favorite in the area. It is beautifully decorated inside with funny fox wallpaper and a large painting of a fox. It is perfect for those less than perfect days outside, although it does have a nice little field and outside area. Its our go to on a rainy or cloudy day. Can not recommend enough!
Nice spot off of 151. I had the vermouth flight and ended up buying the fall vermouth. The bartender told us a cute story of the winemaker discovering vermouth in Spain. which was also my experience. We will visit again if we are in the area.
We met George and Traylin at the Flying Fox today on our trip to Wintergreen from VirginiaBeach. They are so much fum and very dedicated to the customer. What a beautiful tasting room and the surrounding interior was so welcoming. It's a must go to when you are looking for an abundance of great wines and great owners.
Honestly………. The servers here are racist. I thought I’d have half-way decent luck getting served here but they took one look at my complexion ? I guess business means nothing to them.
Small and intimate tasting room with dark-academia decor. Delicious wines
