Owners were very nice and cordial, helpful/patient, etc. The texture of the meat was good. Portions extremely generous for the price imo.
The flavor of the either the smoke and/or rub was different than what I am used to down South, but my wife really liked it. It was something different though and glad we stopped to try it. Check it out!

I would give them 10 stars if i could. the man was professional, the food was very good, and his wife hand delivered the desert and was very friendly.

The dry rubbed Ribs were fall off the bone, melt in your mouth, flavor packed, deliciousness!
The pulled pork BBQ sandwich was piled high and had just the right balance of tangy and sweet that any bbq enthusiast would crave.

We ordered for a big party: 2 trays of pulled pork, BBQ chicken, mac n cheese, potato salad, and cole slaw, 1 tray of baked beans - all the sauces fixin's too! OMG, everything was soooo good, that pulled pork was juicy and flavorful, the mac n cheese was out of this world, cole slaw was perfect as a side or complementing the pork on a bun. The business is basically a drive in, order at the window and take it to go. Highly recommend and will be a customer for life!

Was driving through back to PA from NC and randomly opened my map to see what restaurants were along the route. Saw this particular restaurant and noticed it was just up the road around the same time. So we decided to stop in see since we like bbq. Now keep in mind, we are from PA. To say it was good would be an understatement. Now every time we are traveling through there, it will be a must stop.

I'm really not sure how people like this. The ribs are so dry. The Mac and cheese is just mush, it didn't even taste like cheese just severely overcooked noodles. The slaw, I'm willing to bet is store bought, which is fine. The pulled pork was maybe a 2/5, lacked flavor but wasn't offensive like the mac. The service was fine and super quick. They have a few picnic tables off to the side for people that don't want to eat in their car. I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't eat here again. I’m from NC and have lived in TX, safe to say I’m not going to try VA bbq again. Two stars bc service was quick and was edible.

Oh my goodness! The ribs tasted better than that delicious smelling smoke. The chicken was awesome as were the pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese and baked beans. And they were just as nice. He said the mac is his mom's recipe. Good stuff, mom. Reminded me of home.
